About Me

What is there to know about me? Well Fall of 2005, I completely changed my life around. Left corporate america and found my way back to being a college student... a second wind. Currently I'm a nursing student at the UT Health Science Center Houston... anticipated graduation May 2007 (fingers crossed).
Get your own countdown at BlingyBlob.comThough a challenge... I find it gratifying and rewarding to be that person someone looks to for help, guidance, empathy, or simply a hand to hold. Its not just dealing with "code browns", taking a temp., following exactly doctors orders, pushing meds... I'd like to say there's more to it. In my last semester I'm making a decision to pursue a career in oncology. 03/30 I accepted a job at MD Anderson!!!Though it seems that I live and breathe school, the majority of my life evolves around the one thing I love the most in life... my family. My dad is the all around macho-man who provides and always leaves room for good times, my mom is our backbone, my baby sister... not so much of a baby anymore but still soul-searching... she will be an unbelievable chef one day, Nikko our 16 y/o "Chow-sky" will always be forever young, Remy the newest member of the bunch and of course there's my boyfriend Ramon... the only one who truly gets me. Of course my family extends beyonds this... God bless them all...
.. My advice: cherish and adore your close friends, party in moderation, always be humble and patient, learn to laugh at yourself, comfort is key, ALWAYS wash your hands after using the restroom (splashing water on your hands does not count! Think...E. coli), the words I live by: "This above all: To thine own self be true..." Shakespeare (Hamlet)NIKKO HOOVER CHINOOK ALAMA 12/1990-12/12/2006
