HEY.
"I go by many names..."
but you can call me
Winnie
Alright?
Here's a bit about me...I love my music and even better if its live. I love singing along with the crowd at gigs and festivals, it can’t fail to make anyone smile.
I’m sick of people asking where I’m from; I’m from Solihull actually mate. But, my family are from Hong Kong so yes I’m Chinese- but if I told you I was Korean you wouldn’t know the difference anyway.
I love Paris, Random shopping trips to London with the mates. Warm summers in Stratford rowing on the River Avon with the girls are also when I’m happiest. Can’t wait to go inter-railing when I’ve graduated with Chrissy and Hannah!. I want to go to New York one day- not just for shopping but I want to visit MOMA and visit Japan for walks in Kyoto among the cherry blossom and eat REAL sushi.
I find art incredibly interesting and am going into my third year of History of Art at uni. I especially love contemporary art and Art that’s not afraid to be messy and inspires me to paint; I quite like Richard Hamilton and Matisse. I like the Ikon gallery in Brum, photography and Art Nouveau.
I am somewhat a bit of a shopaholic. I like Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs and dreaming about the Chanel 2.55 but it’s not like I can afford them. I like to think I’ve got my own style. But I know I fall into the trap of buying from Topshop like a zillion other girls. I do like the freebies and can’t resist the odd bargain. I like Vintage shops even though they smell and am quite partial to shoes. I like Vogue, Dazed and Confused, I.D and various other mags- but they are a bit pricy and i waste too much money on them..
Nights out which end up very drunken, with notably Chrissy announcing her love to anyone who will listen. Hannah who apparently ‘never’ gets drunk…in that case she needs to get rid of her beer goggles. Katie who now dances like a robot (which I loveee!!!) and the very happy Rach and Hev who, can’t resist a good party.
I like Sunny winter mornings, Neon nails, Food Shopping and hilarious Japanese game shows, Finding money in old jeans. French cinema- not being pretentious or anything but I just happen to really enjoy them. I like Jean Seberg in Breathless and Anna Karina.
Sainsbury’s Fruit and Nut choc get me through the workload at Uni. The best feeling is at 3am when you’ve finished That essay. I drink copious amounts of tea at Uni and spend hours wasting time, cracking stupid jokes and laughing with the housemates, dancing at a packed Snobs and good giggage to relieve the stress of uni!.
