About Me

I think the headline says it all. As well as the fact that I stole the headline from my little glow-in-the-dark plastic figurine standing next to my computer. I wrote a witty, sarcastic yet charming profile yesterday and lost it somehow to my technological ineptitude. There was something in it about my kind caring qualities as well as my joy of long, romantic walks along beaches at sunset. Then I mentioned a bit about the fruit flies multiplying in my kitchen. I can't remember the rest, but it was very well written. Seriously. So, this is it for now. If you want to know about me you could ask, I suppose.

My Interests

all the usual stuff, plus. . . moving to new locations every coupla years. politics. nature-- except I don't like nature when it's IN my home. Only outside my home (ie: bugs, bats, rats, fungus, mold. . .)ummmm..... people and the crazy shit they do.

I'd like to meet:

People I already know. Friends of people I already know. Some other people, I guess. I'll let you know when I meet them.

Music:

Ah, so much. I just visited Bonaroo and wasn't able to see all the acts that I wanted to see. But I did get to see RAdiohead, Beck, Dungen, Andrew Bird, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Cat Power, Bright Eyes, Death Cab For Cutie (only the end of that one). I also love: PRince, Nina Simone, Art Blakey, old Tribe, Bad Brains, Peaches, Mouldy Peaches, Sufjan Stevens, Stevie Wonder, Pavement, Morphine, Pixies, Journey.

Movies:

You and ME and Everyone We Know. Footloose. spirited away. Spanish Prisoner. What Happened Was. The Shining. Parents (RAndy Quaid/horror). Shane. Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of NEw York. I'm a movie whore. I'll see most anything, and then forget what I've seen and which are the best. But the movies I've named are some of the best that I've ever seen.

Television:

I don't have cable, so. Cheaters. judge joe brown. dr. who. mad tv occasionally.

Books:

what, like I have the time to read? What with the teevee and movies and filling out on-line profiles? Jeezus. Crime and PUnishment was the last incredible novel I've read. The Trial. The Heart of the MAtter. I haven't read a really good book in a long time. I'm gonna quick go do that now.

Heroes:

Huh. My friend, Alie.
