Nelson & DjosaMusic=rhythm, melody, harmony, sound, energy, chemistry, love and friendship. These are the elements that make up our first two albums, the first one is Ntjamrosie's debutalbum entitled Atouba, released in January 2008, taking you on a journey to Cameroon like you've never experienced before. Years of musical ventures and connections have boiled up this album that fits in no specific category. It is the brainchild of Nelson&Djosa, Ntjamrosie and Erik Keysie. Our second album that came out of this period of music making is called "Don't Kill Your Feelings" (release date tba). It sounds like the soundtrack of the city, from warm summer red en yellow coloured soulful love stories to winter storm dark expressions of everyday troubles. The background for this album lies mainly in old music, ranging from Prince-funk eighties electro pop to Jimi guitar reverse soundscapes and then back to Stevie..s addiction to Moog synthlines. We call it space funk. Be ready. Can you still handle music that does not rely on just one aspect like sound or melody, but on all of the above mentioned? All elements come together on this creation with the help of our mutual children of the space funk: Ntjamrosie, Proto, Erik Keysie, Kofi Anonymous, Spoonface, and the funkchild Steve Hartley.
