I am one who travels through life and within to gain knowledge. I am a pharmacy technician who wants to become a pharmacist. I am a student, taking courses to carve out my niche in an attempt to successfully become accepted as a true pharmacy student, and eventually a true pharmacist. I am also a stocker by night to pass the time during those nights when nothing else is going on. I am a student of body, slowly restricting myself from the culinary pleasures that other men and women think nothing of, the same things of which I used to take in much too much. I am a student of mind, wanting to learn new things about people and places, as well as what our future holds. I am a student of spirit. When I was a teenager, I thought nothing of the evil streak within me, saying and doing things that some may dismiss as "boys being boys", yet would appall many others. Later, I learned to hide that streak, and say nothing when others with that same mindset would have lashed out. Hiding it was no longer an option as I got older. I knew I had to fight and overcome it, and the sooner the better. I slowly grew to despise the man I once was and the things I once represented, and I try to distance myself further from that being every day. I hope someday that others would look upon me and remember who I am now, and not what I was. I shall live honorably among my fellow man, and not tolerate the things I once stood for. I can only hope that one day, my soul will be truly purified and purged of the sins from my distant past.
