Fine, so we're not doing so well. Let's look at the bright side. The game has... uh... well the critics like the part... um... Oh! People are praising the... er... okay so our game bombed. Not a problem! It means we'll have to try even harder for TimeShift 2, right?
What? You don't want a sequel? Who do you think you are anyway... you're probably reading this while you're at work or school. Nice slacking.
Okay so I'll admit, the game wasn't the best. But at least the project was fun, ey? You know what I mean. From drinks with the guys, to filthy debates, to even filthier late night chats (hot teens 13-15 anyone?)- TimeShift brought an overwhelming amount of good times. I probably shouldn't have typed that last bit. Oh well.
Now I'm working on a game based on The Spiderwick Chronicles. Don't laugh. It's an alright game. I get to swing a net. I get to watercolor with faeries. I get to throw stones at stalactites. Man, it's so wonderful. You wish you were me.

Now this is important: he's touring the states and I managed to score tickets to his October 3rd show at the El Rey here in LA. Any fans? Don't stop reading if you're not, because he's mad excellent and giving him a chance may be the greatest thing you'll ever do. I've done you the favor of rummaging up links to his music, some videos, and his bio (in case personality matters to you), and within a few measly clicks you'll be instantly grateful to me (for the guidance) and to mark (for his wondrous talent).
Do have a go, and if you like what you hear (why wouldn't you?) then let me know. His show is on October 3rd, and it's going to be lovely, funky, and oh-my-god amazing (to name a few). Now tap that mouse!

I'm back
14th of September 2007
And to be honest, I really don't have much to say! I'm happy to be back, but I wish I wasn't to tell you the truth. I mean, thank god I could see you all again, but I'm sad it's over. St. Petersburg was my home for one month, and I settled in. Living was easy, work was relaxed, the sights were beautiful, and the night life was fantastic.
Paris was even more drop-dead gorgeous. It may be the most attractive place in the world. The view from the Arc de Triomphe is a must, if you ever go.
London wasn't nearly as overwhelming- it was like LA really, but a bit more sarcastic and wonderful for it. The Underground is so effective and artistically simple, I think it's something every city should strive to match.
This taste got me wanting more. So unfortunately, I'm on a bit of a downer being back... but I'm happy overall. The experience was grand, the people were great, now on with the same ol' same ol'.
