Cycling.Triathlon.Cycling.Triathlon.Ok- You get the point. I train my ass off for events pretty much all year long. I average 12 -20 hours per week beetween the bike(road), gym, and pool durring triathlon season. I started racing about 13 years ago as a break from drinking beer, chasing girls, gambling(a different sorta triathlon if you will) ......The lifeguard lifestlye was bitchin! I however only have one liver and decided to move on toward a more balanced lifestyle. Balance however, remains a struggle for me since cycling and triathlon are so time comsuming. Truth be told, I have a small problem with losing. I still ski, backpack, surf, Mt. bike, and have tried plenty of other things. I've climbed Mt. Shasta a couple of times as well as a few other 14er's. I plan on seeing the world from above twenty thousand feet by foot some day. I would travel a lot more- but my mortgage is Phat! Road trips will have to make up the bulk of my traveling for a while. On a list of things to do- Adventure racing, white water rafting, scuba diving for fun instead of body recovery(somewhere warm), and kite surfing in the bay. I also want to see more of the Bay Area, SF, San Jose, Parks, camping, dining?- More. I've lived in the East Bay my entire life and never been to The Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Mt. Tam, Big Sur,.......obviously I could go on here. My other interests include napping in the middle of the day, reading magazines, dancing, playing with my cool-ass dog "Rocky", kicking Kendall's ass in fooseball, or just chillin' at home watching movies.
| View Show | Create Your OwnI have a ton of cool friends now, but am always interested in more. I'm greedy. I'm on here to keep in touch with'em all and make some new ones too. I'm down to meet anyone interesting. I haven't really anyone special in mind 'cause were all special in some way(some more than others). Good people with a positive attitude?-whatever. I dig happy people. Simple huh? I'm single now and wouldn't mind meeting some fitness minded ladies?- They are tough to find. Perhaps active people who like to party now and then too. Lance said- "it's not about the bike". He's right- it's about the journey and I've got a few recent hangovers to prove it! Nevermind the destination- just take all life has to offer. Have as much fun as possble while striving to be a better person. If you share a similar attitude- say what's up.
Hip hop, R&B, some alternative & hard rock. Still waiting to find some country music that doesn't make me ill.
Frontal nudity, car chases, machine gun fire??? Right on! I will watch anything with an open mind, though generally prefer action, comedy, a good drama or thriller. I have this friend at work named 60 watt who's movie selection sucks major balls! The last film he suggested was The Station Agent. AN entire film about an angry "little person" who lives in an abandoned train station? What the @%&!? Whatever, he can keep the marching penguins and all that Berkeley crap to himself from now on.
Don't watch much. My roomate has me watchin' a little CSI & Reno 911. The news, maybe a little MTV. I use it as background noise mostly.
Not a big BOOK reader- though I would have to suggest Lance Armstrongs Biography- "It's not about the bike" or "The Kite Runner".
Ok--So there are plenty of people to chose from on this one. I just went to the movies the other night with a friend. She described her sister to me. What a stud! She had got married, pregnant ,and delivered her first born while in law school. The crappy part is she had to do all this while losing her mother to illness. She's recently taken the bar exam in California- So what's your average day like? Some people can't find the energy to get their lazy ass to work. So, If I'm gonna chose "heroes"- I chose all those regular people out there turning chicken shit into chicken salad!
