About Me

this u do NOT need to know. Stop trolling my profile. layouts.

My Interests

Cody Kemchek graciously helped with this profile!
I'm actually a pilot (good with the controls but not so good with the radio :) Private Pilot, mind you although my friends say I could go ATP. Since this is really a keyword field used to pitch ads (so say my CompSci friends, here goes: Coffee!, NASA, Astronomy, photography, modeling, running, Backpacking, Hiking, Kayak, Jet Ski, Scuba, Snowmobile, Antarctica, New Zealand, Makeup, Publishing, Sailing, Mountaineering, Fashion, Shoes, Prada, Poetry, Writing, Reggae, YoYo Ma, Radio Drama, NPR, The Rapture and the Amazon.

I'd like to meet:

Bao Phi - What a great American Poet!

My how I love to watch the night sky... The Video (below) is the short, 30 sec. version of where we fit in the Universe!

The Video (below) is of another poet I stumbled upon...

***And Finally***
The Video (below) is the original "- Remind Me -" by Royksopp

Music:

MushroomHead(my favorite is Duncan Hines Coffee! the music is so over the top one has to make sure there is no whip in that cup)
Jesse Cook (Music that cannot be resisted - Who would have thought that the guitar could be a percussion instrument?)
Alanis Morissette has grown up! I wish I could give a jagged little pill to some of the people I know. :p
www.bbc.co.uk..radio1.. for my dose of street reality.

Movies:

The Devil Wears Prada, sign me up for some of those awesome clothes.
Big Fish.
Bourne Ultimatum was...oh all right! I liked the "oh, s#!*^%*" moments!

Television:

Ugh. Don't even have one. Oh sure i missit, but that's what friends are for! Um, maybe I'll have to reconsider this just for HBO's "Mad Men" (for the architecture, of course).

Books:

I just put down "Eagle Pond" Donald Hall. There were some very lovely images in this book. I just picked up "The Best American Poetry 2006" edited by David Lehman. I've never seen a Fast and Furious Race in poetry before let alone one as vivid at Bao Phi's "Race." It was adreno-cool and I wish "I" could have been the one to wave off the start!

Heroes:

Lucy Mangan, writer at the UK Guardian! You, next to the automatic coffee maker, are my heroine.
