About Me

I'm a TOTAL romantic: I love candle-lit walks on the beach and late-night conversations where nobody shares their feelings. Turn ons: plastic surgery, insecurities, egomaniacal morons. Turn offs: brainiacs, overly intellectual types, weird artsy types, people who R not reel lol.
My Ideal Evening: paying a cover charge and/or waiting in line to go to a bar where they serve drinks like Rum & Diet Coke in red keg cups; hopefully the DJ will be playing at least 2 songs from "Back In Black," two songs from "Slippery When Wet" and I'll get elbowed in the neck by a dude with a kamikaze shooter in his hand as he hop-dances to "Walkin' On Sunshine." Acceptable alternatives include any place where I must scream to be heard.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS: getting caught in the wind but shrugging it off because I know how to be spontaneous; the first moment when you trade in your one year-old dog for a brand new puppy; playing video games on my cell phone with the BEEP volume cranked (esp. on the subway)

Skirball

I bought eleven phone jacks at Radio Shack today and drove them to Panny Tansel's place near the Skirball exit off the 405. Nice neighborhood. He managed to find the one tattered shack/warehouse in ...

more with Panny Tansel

Panny Tansel wanted eleven phone jacks from me; I didn't have any to spare. Yet I didn't want to let this guy down. My fatal flaw is that I'm a people-pleaser. Also, I've been looking for ways to m...

"PHONE JACKS - 323-933-2496"

So I called the phone number this morning and a man trying to pull off a fake falsetto woman's voice answered. "Hey." It was almost as if he were expecting my call."I'm calling about the phone jacks...

PHONE JACKS

There's this sign that has haunted me on Sepulveda near Wilshire. It's this cardboard sign with the stenciled message "PHONE JACKS - 323-933-2496". It's stapled to a telephone pole.
