people who are open to new ideas and new experiences. Hopeful people, or those who want to be hopeful. (which i naively believe is most people) those who love music, movies, art, sports (more of a doer than a watcher), travel. I love storytellers. people who rock.
Gomez, Cuong Vu, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Tool, Tracy Chapman, Modest Mouse, Black Eyed Peas, Ween, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Can, Yo la Tengo, Built to Spill, Wilco, Blur, Old Floyd, Electronica, dance music, rock, classical, soul and gospel, MMW, Charlie Hunter, Mingus, Art Blakey... here it comes...what everyone says...i like all kinds. i do. Not a pop fan, but i don't discriminate. I usaully find myself listening to different sub cultures of music at different times. I am not a musician so i am a pretty passive listener. not a critic.
Movies only have to pass one test with me, would i watch them again? Hotel Rawanda, Fresh, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Run Lola Run, p, Delicatessen, Amelie, The City of Lost Childeren, Goonies, Ghost Busters, When Harry Met Sally, Wierd Science, Mystic Pizza, Syrianna, Totsi, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribean, Watch It, Raiders of the lost Arc, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, King Kong (2005), The fugitive...and many many more....
I don't have cable and i watch almost no TV....but i am a LOST junkie, although i watch it on my mac. if i had cable i would watch the daily show....John Stewart is THE man.
Most of the books i have been reading lately are non-fiction books that deal with my major. However there are some that i would highly recommend. The End of Poverty, The Ecology of Commerse, The Art of War, One World, and some old classics....1984 (of course), Red Planet, Dune, The Man in the High Castle, Slaughter House Five, Hocus Pocus, The Hobbit....
