About Me

I'm a newly-graduated, (although not yet licensed), lawyer getting ready to go into the Army JAG Corps. I'm originally from Kingman, AZ. I graduated from Northern Arizona University in May of '04, and I graduated from the Texas Tech School of Law in May 2007. I'm a very outgoing and energetic guy. I'm a decent bass and guitar player, a die-hard tennis player, I love the outdoors and travelling, and I'm a pretty good cook.Feel free to shoot me a message, unless you're pushing spam, webcams, or any of that other obnoxious junk!

My Interests

Tennis, racquetball, French classical fencing, cross-country skiing, long-distance running, playing guitar, bass, drums, and banjo, acting, hiking, camping, fishing, reading, travel, scuba diving, gambling, Military History, Hebrew, golf, international law, and cooking.

I'd like to meet:

A normal woman. Preferrably fun, smart, honest, and one who likes tennis and Guinness.

Music:

I like basically everything: I really dig Steely Dan, Clapton, Brian Setzer, Paul McCartney, Aerosmith, Denver Harbor/Fenix TX, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dave Matthews, Incubus, Linkin Park, Flogging Molly, Vallejo, Sheryl Crow, Dire Straits, Chilli Peppers, Nickel Creek, to name a few.

Movies:

"Thank You For Smoking" and Matchpoint are my current favorite movies. Also, I love the original Star Wars movies, the Indiana Jones movies, Braveheart, Crash, all Tarantino movies, and all David Lynch films. Anything with Will Farrel, Chris Farley, Jack Black, or Adam Sandler is guaranteed to crack me up. I'm a movie fanatic and no list is long enough to name all my favorites. I lost count of how many I own a LONG time ago.

Television:

The Office, Scrubs, American Idol, and South Park. I'm also a huge HBO original series fan, including Entourage, Extras, and Big Love.

Books:

My favorite writer is definitely Leon Uris. I enjoy books by Michner, Turtledove, Shaara, Grisham, and Clancy. For sci-fi, I also like Orson Scott Card (the 'Ender's Game' series) and Brian Herbert (the 'Dune' series). Favorite books would have to be either 'The Killer Angels', 'The Haj', 'Trinity', or 'Battle Cry'. Generally I read any solid historical fiction or war story. My current read is "The Guns of August".

Heroes:

Movie Review - 'The Departed' gets Five Stars

An outstanding movie. Along with 'Goodfellas', it's Scorsese's best. In fact, it's actually superior in many ways. The acting, complex plot, and powerful cinematography all come together perfectly. Fo...

Book review - Mila 18 by Leon Uris

Yet another reason why I consider Leon Uris the best American storyteller of the 20th century. Mila 18 is another Uris classic. Mila 18 is the center of the Jewish revolt against the Nazis in the Wars...

Now just in case anybody hasn't seen this already . . .

It's one of the funniest cartoons ever put on the internet. I laughed at it during undergrad, and I still laughed as hard today. http://www.endofworld.net/...
