About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Turquoise swirl

Me. Hmmmm. A Colorado native and pioneer decendent. I've lived in this beautiful state all my life except for a six week fiasco where we lived in Federal, Wyoming many moons ago.I'm the proud MOM of one daughter and three sons. Of course, they are the best looking, smartest, brightest, most witty children ever born! I'm not partial at all! Love you guys!I'm married to a man who supports me and my causes. Even the odd ones. And there are many of them... He listens to my whining, gets frustrated with my intensity and has taught me to be a little more laid back about things.People fascinate me. I love to watch and observe when I meet someone new. One advantage to being shy. I can sit back and absorb and ask myself, "What makes them tick?"Ask me about my alter-ego, Granny Fitzpatrick. She shows up occasionally at my job and the most expected, hysterical things come out of her mouth. (Granny=me) Most people who have never met Granny don't even realize it's me. I play it to the hilt and love every minute of it.

My Interests

I love to learn!

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent persons. People with great, fun personalities. Common sense and a good head on their shoulders is a biggie.

Music:

I love watching live music. The performers, the intensity, and the obvious love is amazing to watch.

Movies:

Anything totally off the wall that will make me laugh out loud. Weekend at Bernie's, Tommy Boy, Wayne's World, Home Alone. You get the picture.

Television:

The Discovery and History channels often have some great stuff. Home improvement shows. Old comedies: The Carol Burnett Show, I Love Lucy. Amazing ladies! And then my BIG weakness: Cops. I know. Completely mindless TV...

Books:

Intense books. Ones that make you think outside the box. I love a lot of the classics as well. Steinbeck and Hemingway with their symbolism.

Heroes:

My mom. My dad. Grandparents were huge in my life. Bits and pieces of each of them are what made me who I am today. I thank each of them for their influence.

My Blog

Being Mom

Mom.  I've been a mom for a long time but I'm moving into another era of mom-hood.  On Saturday, my youngest male child will graduate high school.  For 21 years I've had at least ...
