All of this abandon I can hardly stand it

About Me

I could talk about myself but I suppose it's better to let the people speak.
"You are extremely gifted at understanding the complex"
"Dear Joel, Why you gotta take the ladies I like? You need to find purpose in life...and love"
"To be honest, I expected you to be a real dick...anyway...you never ceased to impress me during our 'philosophical hippie talk'...even the most memorable day of the lockdown"
"Life may not be a game, but can certainly be played like one and you're just an all around experienced player"
"Whoa that's definitely crossing the line there man, you're becoming an asshole"
"You filled up your 30 gig Ipod....You really have no life"
"Those delusional thoughts you have, those negative ones you know aren't real, you have to take them and forget them and realize what reality is"
"You're really good at being honest with people. You're not afraid to show your flaws and you make people feel comfortable, it's why you have no trouble making friends"
"You could really be a model, you have a handsome face and you're tall...you could trim those eyebrows up a bit though"
"I love you...A lot"
"You really gotta learn to relax man. You stress out over everything. You overuse you're freak outs so they aren't worth as much. You freak out over so many small things when something really happens I won't be able to tell"
"I don't understand you, I'm really fuckin' mad at you right now but you're still making me laugh"
"That was the dumbest fucking voicemail I've ever heard in my life"
"I keep you around because you're funny"
"You really always get away with everything, it's ridiculous. You never end up in any real trouble"
"What's a guy like you doing smoking cigarettes? You seem too smart for that, oh well I suppose we all have our flaws"
"You know you claim to be a feminist and that you're all about women's rights and all that but you're really full of shit"
"I'm just really disappointed in you..."
"Nino, tu eres un iresponsable, siempre estas saliendo tarde y no me dejas dormi"
"What do you mean man? This one? All he has to say is what's up and they're taking their pants off"
"You hold your beer bottles so awkwardly"
"You really got a gift for putting things into words man."
"I really don't think our friendship is a coincidence, I really think that god sometimes puts us around people we need to live and learn with."

Music:

Movies:

Television:

The Boondocks is the best show on television. I don't ever really watch TV except for that show although the few episodes I've seen of Family Guy are funny as hell. Adult Swim is the only thing original and entertaining on televison. I'd rather watch movies, listen to music, read books, use the computer, basically do anything besides watch TV.

Books:

I love to read when I find an extremely interesting book, otherwise I get bored easily and do something else. Some books that passed as extremely interesting to me: To Kill A Mockikgbird, 1984, The Catcher And The Rye, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Smack, All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten, Anthem, How We Are Hungry and others I'm not remembering right now. I also like to read non-fiction books about philosophy, religion and occassionally some politics. Writing this reminded me about how I need to start reading a lot more non-fiction and entertain the nerd in me.

Heroes:

Family and Close Friends for their influence on my life. Real Christians, Responsible people, People who truly care about others, Robert Fulghum, Max Bemis, A lot of writers, A lot of musicians, A lot of thinkers, Humble People, People who fulfill their dreams.
