The Colony was originally founded January 2004. We have 36 initiated brothers. Lambda Chi Alpha is founded on a number Christian Principles and teachings. Honor, Morality, Patriotism, Fraternity, Adaptability, Truth etc.
Why Lambda Chi?
Lambda Chi Alpha is the oldest all-male Fraternity at TAMIU (Founded Nationally in 1909). We strive to enhance your college experience, help your academics, provide leadership and networking experience, make you a better man than you were and give you the full Greek experience that only Lambda Chi Alpha can give you.
NO HAZING!! As a matter of fact, Lambda Chi Alpha was the first fraternity to eliminate hazing way back when in the 70's. We continue to be the leader in the fight against hazing, alcohol abuse, and other such problems that face college students.

Oh yeah, we don't Pledge? That's right folks, we don't pledge. Instead, when you join you'll become an Associate Member. As an Associate Member or AM , you have all the rights of a member. You will never be asked to do anything that a true man should not or could not do.
