Acetone (pronounced ass-a-tone) is part of a dying breed, an endangered species these days. A punk band. Fast, loud, power chords, energetic, and suffering from a lack of talent, they are everything you would want from a real punk band. Formed in 2006, Acetone has been starting circle pits all over RI and MA. Some come to our shows and do your part to bring back an endangered species; punk rock.
In early May 2006, Acetone released their first 3-track demo entitled The Kitchen(1). Very few copies of that were distributed so if you got your hands on one your lucky. The Kitchen(1) went out of print at the end of May 2006 when Acetone went back and recorded three other originals. This 4-track cd became known as The Kitchen EP and included: 1.Punk Rock Band 2.CRASH 3.Alcohol 4.Drink, Fuck, Fight. In October 06, the band recorded their first studio cd entitled Speed Was A Factor which is out now and can be bought off this page for only $8. Our 2-track single called Nick's A Fag! [The Single] is out too. The tracks are: 1. Nicks A Fag! 2. Halloween (Misfits cover). Buy it here or at a show!
