My Interests

music, singing, songwriting, costumes, performing...do we see a pattern here?? i am a closet eartha kitt, i must confess.. she comes out when i perform...purrrrrrrrrfectly...i am interested in life and living and finding new and exciting ways to wear diamonds...

I'd like to meet:

musicians, singers songwriters,artists, dreamers,children at heart,those that dare to challenge what everyone else says is true,and those of you that think outside of yourselves...time travel, anyone? .. ..

Music:

love it all....but some of my faves are:the ocean,the wind, the rain,the song only you can hear when you close your eyes, blood,sweat and tears,ramsey lewis, yes, the beatles, steely dan, the spice girls, marc broussard, KEM.. the moody blues, KD lang,a capella singing... there is nothing like the human voice..my first love would be jazz and old motown..etta james, and i absolutely love nancy wilson...she is the ultimate in vocal paradise.

Movies:

why?unless they can hold my interest, i do not watch them, and holding my interest is not easy..i will say " that thing you do" was wonderful, and of course, this is spinal tap. really,animated is the way to go..."animalympics"... that was a good one...music by 10cc...awesome...the colours in the sky right as the sun sets..i once saw a rainbow in the rockies, almost a full circle...now THAT is worth watching.

Television:

i prefer live music or radio... television kills one's imagination. kind of like music videos..as todd rudgren said once, music is supposed to be listened to, not watched..that said, i watch very little,unless it is musical...i do like whose line is it anyway and mystery science theater 3000 and of course, "what not to wear" this is required watching...

Books:

bible, beauty,biographies,science, anything that challenges the norm..i am nothing, if not a challenge...just kidding... maybe...i did however find the instructions on my new eyeliner quite riveting.... changed my life...

Heroes:

JESUS!!!!!a man worth knowing..and my son jesse and my mom...the coolest people i know but my heart belongs to daddy...
