MyGen Profile Generator I am a married man of 49. My beautiful wife is named Debbie. I have three sons: Devon, Alex and James. I have a Jack Russell terrier (named Jackie, of course), a dachshund named Rufus and one cat named Socks. I teach Acting and Directing at Texas Tech.

My Interests

Movies, reading, theatre, work-outs, writing.

I'd like to meet:

My favorite director, Trevor Nunn and several of my favorite actors including Anthony Hopkins.

Music:

I really like all kinds. I've been very impressed with the local scene.

Movies:

My favorite film, if I was forced to narrow it down to one, would have to be City Lights with Charlie Chaplin. But I love many different types of films. Some of favorites include Chinatown, Lawrence of Arabia, Love Actually, Notting Hill, The Hospital, They Might Be Giants, etc.

Television:

My favorite show is The Wire on HBO, followed closely by 24 and the Sopranos. I also like that wonderful Canadian series Slings and Arrows.

Books:

The best read I've ever had was Remembrance of Things Past, but I like many different novels including The Adventures of Cavalier and Clay, Case Histories, etc. I like murder mysteries as well including those by Henning Mankell and Anne Perry.

Heroes:

I doubt anyone will read this.

    My first blog. This seems like an interesting idea: to create a global village of like-minded people. I have no idea if that's the way it really works out.What do you think?
