Well, I figured I should update the about me section of my page, so here it goes. I've been living in the Metro DC area for four years now and I have made some amazing friends here and found a really great church at Frontline. But its true you can take the girl out of New York, but you can't take the New York out of the girl. God has definately taught me a lot, and the last four years have been an amazing ride, can't wait to see what else God does.
One of the things I'm most excited about is the mission trip to the Phillipines, God has totally blessed me, and put me on a team with 10 of the most amazing people I've ever been around..
Let's see whatelse is there..
I'm a total sports nut, I can pretty much get behind any sport. And yes I'm a total Yankee fan( hopefully my New England friends wont hold that against me.)
I heart all things coffee..oh and my Jeep Wrangler.
Traveling and helping people are two of my favorite things to do..I probably need a job that lets me do both more on that later..
Of all the places I've been Barcelona, Dublin and NYC are my favorite places to visit.
Audrey Hepburn had Tiffanys to make her smile, for me its and probably always will beYankee Stadium..
My favorite book other than the Bible is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn..and my favorite movie at the moment is Bend it Like Beckham, and most fun i've ever had watching it was with my friend Marianne..
The Bible verse that is always close to my heart is James 1:2-4
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
I teach the coolest group of 5 year olds at Mclean Bible on sundays...
Also I tend to be a little intense sometimes, but Im sure that depends on who you ask. :) Most of the time, I'm pretty even keel, and I'm what you call sarcastic funny.
