Intill is a rock band which gladly explores various styles such as
metal, alternative, noise music.
Changes of atmosphere within the songs led the band members to
describe their music as "cyclothymic energy rock".Intill's major influences come from the West Coast of the USA as well
as Scandinavia. Their names are Tool, Faith No More, At the Drive-In,
the Mars Volta, or Refused.Upon its creation, in 2002, the band was composed of two guitars.
Songs were then very energic and a lot of harmonies were mixed.
Since Aurelien left the band , the sound became more authentic and
rock, but the band never lost its soul in the process.As for the vocals, Thor's presence is stronger than ever, especially
on stage, with a deep voice which subtly variates in intensity and
tessiture, giving the song their cyclothymic aspect.
Stephane provides melodies and "straight to the point" riffs, helped
by Yann on the bass and the young'n'gifted Jim on the drums.In five years, each member has found his place. The peculiar sound
giving the band its identity has sharpened.
Intill is now grown up, thanks to numerous gigs and encounters with other bands.Coming projects are an unplugged set, an already recorded album, and
of course new concerts.

Intill est une formation rock qui explore volontiers d'autres univers tels que le métal, l'alternatif, le noise...Les changements d'atmosphère au sein de la musique d'Intill ont amené les membres du groupe à qualifier leur musique d'Energy Rock Cyclothymique.Intill est influencé par des groupes de la scène américaine et scandinave tels que Deftones, Tool, Faith No More, At The Drive-in, The Mars Volta ou
Refused.
Créé en 2002, le groupe comptait initialement deux guitares. Les morceaux étaient alors très énergiques et riches en harmonies.
Le départ d'Aurélien, guitariste, fît ressortir aux compositions leur côté authentique et rock, sans qu'Intill n'y perde jamais son âme.Thor au chant garde une présence forte, notamment sur scène; sa voix profonde joue habilement sur des variations d'intensité et de tessiture, donnant tout le caractère cyclothymique aux chansons.Stéphane assure des mélodies et des riffs efficaces à la guitare, appuyé par Yann à la basse et par la présence de Jim, jeune batteur surdoué, membre du groupe depuis decembre 07.En cinq années d'existence, chacun a su trouver sa place et affiner le
son et l'identité du groupe.
Intill a mûri, grâce à la scène et à ses rencontres avec d'autres groupes.
Les projets ne manquent pas : set acoustique, album (en cours de mixage), concerts…
