O-zone

I'm a solo singer/songwriter guitarist ... a self taught player who's adapted many different stlyes in my music and songwriting. I was Born in West Cumbria and lived there most my formative life and began writing music when I was 16yrs old. I attended a music course in Preston when I was 18 and performed my first gigs there. My style was evolving on the guitar as I became influenced by varied musical genres In the year 2000 I travelled widely in Spain where I developed my passion and technique for flamenco based on the real thing. I also picked up some Spanish along with some new guitar tricks throughout my musical seven and a half month sojourn. I now live back in the North of England, where I am currently recording at home and playing venues/festivals in Cumbria and the North-West. Other than music I have a 21ft yurt (the ozone yurt ) which I take to festies as a chill space. It is a project which is open and flexible to cater for all kinds of atmosphere. It is also used for parties e.t.c. And we aim to bring people together in a cosmic environment where almost anything go's.I also enjoy the sun, walks in the countryside, socialising, meeting new people and bumping into old friends at mad parties, dancing, outdoor parties n festies, juggling, cooking nice food, traveling, speaking n learning Spanish, being random, going on nice drives, being unpredictable, and spontanious. Generally - I'm best doing stuff in my own way
