As we grow up.... we learn that even one person that wasn't suppose to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder everytime. You'll break hearts too.... so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things the old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast.... and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures.... laugh to much. And love like you've never been hurt. Because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Love is giving him the power to destroy you.... but trusting him is not. Real love stories never have happy endings because.... real love stories never end. You know your in love when the hardest thing to say is good-bye. Never make somebody your everything because.... when their gone, you've got nothing. Having the love of your life break up with you and say we can still be friends is like.... your dog dying and your mom saying you can still keep it. If you can't get someone out of your head.... maybe their suppose to be there. When you really love someone.... you are willing to let them go.... and when they come back.... then that's true love.... because true love is always worth the wait. Never give up on the things that make you smile. It hurts when you have someone in your heart.... but you can't have them in your arms. The greatest challenge in life is finding someone who knows all flaws.... different and mistakes.... and still loves you with everything they have. Love is like war.... easy to start.... hard to end.... impossible to forget. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.... they must be felt with your heart. Never break the heart that truly loves you. So remember.... you aren't going to be his first, his last, or his only. He loved before.... he will love again. But if he loves you.... now what else matters??? He's not perfect.... you aren't either. And the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once.... cause you to think twice.... and admits to being human.... and making mistakes, hold on to him and give the most you can. He's not going to quote poetry.... he's not going to be thinking about you every moment.... but he will give you part of him.... that he knows you can break. Don't hurt him.... don't change him.... don't expect more than he can give. Try not to over-analyz.... smile when he makes you happy. Yell when he makes you mad.... and miss him when he's not there. The gaps inbetween your fingers are made for filling.... so let him. And if you fight.... kiss and make up.... you'll be fine!
