after several years of being the worship band for a local southern california church, the stillness decided that they wanted to do more. the stillness makes worship music more than what traditional worship music has always been by blending music styles and a fresh view.
withen the past year the stillness has found a deeper place with god and a deeper passion and obsession for worship. anticipation continued to build as the release of the 6 track ep (released fall 2007) grew closer. each member grew closer to god and each other. every time the band came together passion and excitement was visible by on lookers
but a new chapter is quickly coming around the corner. finally, plans for a full length live worship album, the true passion of the stillness. recording will take place in late february and be available for purchase/download in late spring/early summer 2008. this of course means new, deep worship songs that are destined to inspire the spirit and soul. to promote the release of the album, there will be dense tour of the southern, central and even northern california area.
what drives the stillness? several members agreed "cream soda, old jokes and guitar is what keeps us together." we look foward to a bright future and more great music.
