Nothing quite like the feel of something new...

About Me

I rule. No, not really. I'm not much of anything interesting, but I'd say I'm closer to being an Objectivist than anything else, but I'm not actually an Objectivist by their standards. I hate idiots, so I guess that eliminates about 97% of you out there. Really, though, I'm quite nice. :)
As much as I hate most of society, I like people, and I'm constantly striving for good friendships and relationships. Makes me vulnerable, I suppose, but that's my way.
I'm a geek. I hope one day to acquire nerd status, but alas, my brain is not as absorbent as I'd like it to be. Not to say I couldn't kick your ass in a logical debate. Heh. I wouldn't though, of course. Back to the point. I have a lot of geeky hobbies, but I'm rather fond of keeping my childish side on hand at all times in case of emergencies.
I'm fond of the use of logic over emotion, but I tend to disobey my own philosophies at times... which, I've learned, gets me into trouble a lot.
I love rain (obsessively), and I live in a town where there's not nearly enough of it. I have a bizarre allergy to sunlight, which is ironic, because I learned of this long after my hardcore goth days from high school. Not that it was ever terribly hardcore. Hehe.
I started out in California, mostly Tustin, did a bit of growing up, had a few really cool friends (who I'm slowly trying to find again). Then I moved to Texas. Lived there for ten years, grew up a lot more, made some of the best friends I'll ever have, and then... my father passed away, my mom moved back to Cali, and I followed soon after. Been back in California for only a short while, really. Still getting settled, though I'm starting to doubt it'll ever happen. It was grand when I was younger, sure, but now that I'm older, my whole perspective has changed and, like most people, I'll be striving (probably in vain) to find a place to call home. Meh.
I write a lot of really stupid blogs, mostly when I'm having bad days, so it gets kind of old and repetitive. I suppose it's a good way, though, to tell how I'm really feeling, as I tend to not let on so much when I talk directly to people.
I get nervous around people, and appear rather antisocial, but the fact is that I love being around people. It just takes me a while to get comfortable, but once I am, I'm goofy as hell. Just takes patience.
I make a lot of horrible puns, too, and all inadvertently. It's amusing for my small circle of friends, who have cheesy senses of humor that rival mine. Ω

Star Wars Horoscope for Scorpio

You are a powerful character. You tend to be possessive and lusty - which explains your greedy nature. You feel threatened when people try to order you around or control you. You are prone to suspicion and jealousy - but your resilience and passion get you what you want.Star wars character you are most like: Han Solo What is Your Star Wars Horoscope?
How evil are you? You Are Ichabod Crane From "Sleepy Hollow."
You're a deep thinker - most times logically. You're a bit of a neat freak and a wuss (hey, you do faint a lot!) but you do have the ability to overcome your fears and come out stronger in the end. And you never lose your head over things. (Gufaw gufaw!)

My Interests

Cars, especially my car, Edgar/Chaos (he has an alter-ego); music (I'm a singer); Objectivism (screw Leonard Peikoff for turning this philosophy into a religion); ninja sauce; tattoos; bulgogi; guns; karaoke machines; Halloween stuff; Asian decor; stealing the cars of asshole ex-boyfriends; Ron Jeremy look-alikes; Elvis impersonators; coffee; wine, though I know almost nothing about it; Mandarin language classes; people who are not dogmatic and uninformed when it comes to politics and everything else; video games; comic books; and I'm sure there's a bunch of other stuff.

Satan would be cool to have a drink with. Definitely James Randi. I'd also like meeting people who think George Harrison was the best Beatle. If anyone knows the whereabouts of a Myranda Rogers or Gabrielle Holguin, please let me know!
