About Me

First and foremost, I recently relocated to Denver after 26 years in the greater New York Area.
Now to continue, well lets see, I am a complete music dork. Someone once asked me if there was a day I never listened to music. I just simply said it would be a like a day without breathing. I love going to concerts, and each summer I try to line up as many shows as possible. I would list some of my favorite venues as the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, The Supper Club, Mercury Lounge, The Apollo, The Funk Box (Baltimore, MD). So it shouldn't be a surprise that I love road trips.
During the summer, to me there is no better time than BBQing. All you need is a few good friends, good tunes, good Beer and somebody working the grill and you can have fun for hours. Some of my best memories are from nights like that. I like spending a lot of time outdoors, and play as much tennis as I can. So if you want to hit, let me know. I wish I had more time to go hiking and camping, and am looking to make that a priority this summer.
I love skiing, and have been doing it since I was five. There is almost nothing better than getting first tracks on a sunny morning where it is just you and the mountain. But now, being a public accountant, I shot that all the hell and end up working 6 days a week from Jan 15 - April 15. But it is something I have gotten back to by moving to Denver. I am only 1 1/2 hours from winter Park/Mary Jane, and you really can't beat $360 for a season pass.
I love to read, and always have a book on me. I think everyone should read Siddhartha, and the Alchamist at least once a year.
I tend to get involved in political or philosophical conversations often, and find it amazing how the vast majority of Americans see our country and the world around us.
When it really comes down to it, I love my life. I believe I am blessed to be able to live the way I live my life, and that I am willing to chance everything on a dream. It is sometimes hard, and scary, but being willing to put yourself really out there makes you find another part of yourself. One where you are truly control of your destiny. , and your own dreams. I am Proud that each day that goes by, I am closer to having no really true regrets.
