It all started in 1986, Brake Dance was the thing for Ago, dancing on his favorite rap tunes. Later next year he decides to become a deeper part of the culture and starts doing rap music and forms the first ever Macedonian Rap band called "Masters of Rap". The band was actually a solo-one-man-army at the beginning, which in 1990 became a 2-man-army and Nike Mc joined the band. In that time there was hardly anyone in macedonia that heard of rap music and the certain way of life. The first official song was recorded while Ago was still solo, and was recorded in the studio "Ksanadu" in 1988. The name of the song was officially released as "Masters Of Rap" by A.G.O. (Anger of Genius Overlord). In year 1990, "Masters of Rap" released their first music video with the song titled "Ne Zaboravaj Me" (eng. "Don't Forget Me"), which was based on a true tragic story. At the end of 1990 some changes occur in the band and Nike MC leaves the band, who was in shortly replaced by Boro. Right after the new band team was formed they have a live performance at the City Stadium, Skopje, in organization of the festival "Dzaro Fest". In 1991 the band "Masters of Rap" brakes apart and Ago joins the band "Instant Beat" together with MM Vlado G in who's studio they record the band's songs. Instant Beats have multiple life performances in Skopje and throughout Macedonia, like discotheque "Hall" and Swimming Pool (Veles), discotheque "Park" (Kavadarci), discotheque "Kaktus" (Strumica), discotheque "Lav" (Gjevgelija), and many more. At that time, the first Macedonian rap event ever was organized in the Cafe Bar in MKC (Mladinski Kilturen Centar) called "Bratsvo i Edinstvo" with life performances from DM Dzidzer & Instant Beat. The event was organized by Ago and Zoki (today's macedonian funny cam show director). In 1993 the macedonian entertainment magazine "Ekran" organizes the festival "Rap n Roll" which was a competition, and the songs were released on the compilation tape which was also officially released by "Rap n Roll". The same year Instant Beat record 6 songs in the studio of the Macedonian National Radio and TV company, and the song were: "Ne Zaboravaj Me (remix)", "Mafija", "If You Want More", "Ne e Kako Porano Shto Bilo", "Zabava", "Zenski Fenomeni", and "Instant Beat". The song's production had a funky and jazzy touch. While in "Instant Beat", Ago also starts working on his solo project called "The Most Wanted" in 1992. In 1993 he leaves the band "Instant Beat" because of many principles and terms MM Vlado G imposed. At that time, recording in professional studio was a luxury (at least in Macedonia), and everything came down to ho me production on Personal Computers. Ago starts recording at Tec's home in 1993 and Tec joins "The Most Wanted". From that point on, they start working on their album project with title "Presudniot Den". The instrumentals produced for the album were mostly using samples and the vocals were recorded at Studio "Emiter". The album was finished in 1994 and officially released on a tape in 1995 as the first Macedonian Hardcore Rap Album. The album was highly accepted and completely sold out withing 2 months. "The Most Wanted" had many life performaces in the Skopje and the suburban areas as well in other cities in Macedonija, Stip, Vinica... "The Most Wanted" played a huge role in the Macedonian Urban culture and becomes the avatar of Macedonian Street Rap and most famous rap band with high influence from Ago's street reputation. In 1996 during the shooting of the video "Hardcore Rapot Nema Nikogash da Umre" the band brakes apart because of several reasons. After "The Most Wanted" brakes apart, Ago continues solo as "Temnata Strana" and still rocks the mic in the present. "Temnata Strana" present that raw and hardcore rap beats and is the pioneer of the kind of music in macedonia and the surrounding countries. At the end of 1996 Ago founds the studio "Dolinata Na Senkite" (eng. "The Valley Of The Shadows") and "Armadata" as a band group. "Temnata Strana" has many life performances in clubs and cafes throughout Macedonia and the neighboring countries. Ago spent a lot of time in his studio improving his production and produced a great deal of tracks for the most of the Macedonian Rap bands and artists. For more details on D.N.S. (Dolinata Na Senkite) Production click here . In 1999 DNS Production presents it's first release called "DNS TOM 1 (Neizdadeni)" (eng. "DNS TOME 1 (The Unreleased)"). The first TOME was sign of the things to come. The Tomes are compilation albums of artists and bands that record with DNS Production and which are unable to produce a whole album, or bands and artists that made tracks in DNS which were not planned for any particular album or release. The production of the songs, the sound and quality varies trough time depending on the current equipment status of the studio and the year when they were recorded, which means older songs might appear in the later tome releases. On 22.12.2001, DNS Production organizes the first festival for affirmation of macedonian rap music (The First and Only in Macedonia) called "Polnokna Misa 1", on which there are also guest bands from neighboring countries. In 2002 DNS Production releases a second compilation called "DNS Presents" which consisted of tracks from artists and bands that were planned to be released on future albums + two bonus tracks. Short after the release "DNS Ekipa" (eng. DNS Crew) is found and the first members were: "Temnata Strana" (Ago & Kec), "Nizok Udar", "Solo", "Kameni Most" and later "SVP" and "PKM" joined as well. DNS Ekipa recently had some changes in the crew, for more details click here . In year 2003 DNS presents the second episode of the festival "Polnokna Misa 2", on which DNS Ekipa was the host with several guests from neighboring Serbia and Bulgaria. For more info click here .
