Summertime (love it - favorite time of the year). -I can't stand to be cold. Dancing, Clubbing on occasion(love me some hip hop). Going to the horse races and other sporting events (basketball, baseball). Traveling......so many places to see so little time, road trips, visiting family, vacationing with my girls (or my man if I have one at the time) - usually try to go somewhere for the Birthday in October. Camping is always fun too if you go with your guy and a big group of friends...haven't been forever but used to enjoy going to the lake and river when I was in Sac town. Love to go on drives, check out new places and explore the night life in other cities, looove beautiful views (city lights, ocean) and just beautiful surroundings in general. Having a good laugh (laughing so hard that it makes you cry and your stomach start to hurt), staying in and having a movie night with the girls or cuddling up with your man, make-out sessions (with a man who knows how to kiss of course), getting sexy shoes and outfits, treating myself to an expensive haircut (because I'm worth it damn it!). Other things that I like to do but don't really end up doing very often are hiking, water skiing and just being out on the water in a boat is also cool, river rafting, snow skiing, horse back riding.
I'd like to meet:
Good question. I have been on my space for awhile now...and honestly am kind of over it these days (no offense everybody). It can just become addictive at times and can take up so much of my time. The only reason I am still keeping a page is to stay in the loop on night life (although these days I am feeling a bit burnt out on the whole clubbing thang) AND I love being able to stay in better touch with all of my fabulous chicas and other old and new friends. I am open to whatever might happen through this, however, I really don't think my space is the best place to meet a man (as far as anything substantial goes anyway). I am pretty selective about who I date for the most part because I want the chemistry to be there (and it's either there or it's not so why waste each others time right?). Networking is always a good thing and I do think that you meet everyone for a reason...when things are meant to happen they will happen!
Music:
Like pretty much all music but am definitely a hip hop girl! -It's my fav to dance to and it is what I listen to most of the time. But play some music, any music (well okay not classical), and guaranteed I can and most likely WILL dance to it. I seriously cannot own an Ipod cuz I would be dancin' around lookin' the fool (I cannot control myself when I hear music for some reason). Like old school (Rock, Rap, and Disco from the 70's - 90's). My parents are fairly young and used to play music around the house a lot when I was growing up (Rolling Stones, Foreigner, Linda Ronstadt, Abba, etc). So I always think of them when I hear a lot of those songs. My mom used to play the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac a lot (used to looove those bands...Hotel California was one of my favorite songs for a long time). It's amazing how many memories music can hold. I was in Jr. High and High School throughout the 80's - such a great era! A lot of great music in the 80's and such a big variety. I liked everything from Motley Crue to Depeche Mode to Too Short, the Beastie Boys and Prince (I have always been pretty well rounded that way). Hearing old Heavy D songs always make me laugh and reminds me of old times with my girlies (uh um Leah girl..."Man I am craving some chicken mc nuggets now"..lol. You are too damn funny! That's why I love ya!) And remember 2nd II None! I remember singin' their songs with one of my best friends (Rosanna Danna) when we WERE "only 19 and had it kinda good". Damn I feel old now. lol. - K so I know I'm datin myself a little in this section but I look young so it's all good. lol. Anyway, bad about remembering who sings what...so don't really have many CD's but you get the point on interest...very diverse!
Movies:
Prefer Romantic Comedies, Comedies, and Dramas. Haven't actually been watching many movies lately but Pretty Woman is probably my all time favorite. My Best Friend's Wedding, Crash, The Notebook...what can I say I guess I'm a romantic. Maybe I'm crazy but I'm holding out for the kind of crazy chemistry that you see on screen (ya ya don't talk shit it can happen damn it - why settle right?).
Television:
Sex and the City, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Cashmere Mafia, and of course you gotta throw a lil' reality tv in there!
Books:
Usually Self Help books
