I'm studying to be a psychologist so I'm a good listener.I am a Christian and proud of it, although I DO NOT claim to be perfect or "holier than thou." Everyone has sinned, I have too.I do have some strong political views, but I don't side totally with the Republicans or Democrats because neither side is always right.In my spare time, I like to bowl, shoot some pool, read, play on the computer, or play cards (my favorite games are euchre and poker). I also like to go out dancing once in a while.As far as the bar scene goes, I am usually the designated driver. I might have a beer once in a blue moon, but I don't consider it a point of pride to be able to guzzle 6 pitchers of beer without throwing up, nor do I take much pleasure in getting wasted. I prefer to be in control of my own thoughts and feelings, which is why I never got into smoking pot. Unfortunately though, I am a cigarette smoker. I'm working on that though.I am looking for true friends, including "Ms. Right." Anyone who really knows me will tell you that if you are my true friend, I will give you the shirt off my back and risk my own life to protect yours if need be. My definition of Miss (Mrs?) Right is someone with her head on straight, a sense of dignity and integrity, and strong Christian values. Please read my blog, there's more about me there!Nice guy! Real man!

My Interests

I like playing around on the computer. I play poker, euchre, once in a while I like to play pool or darts, or bowl. I used to coach little league baseball, and I'd really like to get back into that again - that was fun. Naturally, being a man, I like to watch football - can't miss the super bowl lol. To give you an idea of my sense of humor, I listen to Weird Al Yankovic. I also like Jim Carrey movies (Bruce Almighty is one of my favorites). I also like to read - I actually prefer that over watching TV, so as long as there's no football on, you won't have to worry about me hogging the remote! I'm also interested in what's happening in my friends' lives, so if you're my friend, I'm genuinely interested in how you're doing.Nice guy! Real man!

I'll admit it - I'm a Star Wars geek! don't worry, I don't own a Darth Vader costume or anything freaky like that, and I didn't wait in line for 3 days to see the last movie. I also like most comedies, or an occasional drama. sometimes I'll watch a shoot-em-up or a beat-em-up, and if a girl wants to watch some mushy tear-jerker, i'll bite the bullet and watch it with her lolNice guy! Real man!

Books:

some sci-fi or fantasy, i also like mystery (like the old-fashioned whodunits or something like that), but my favorites are nonfiction. i have an interest in history as well as the myth-buster kind of books. i've also read and enjoyed a few religious-based books, and learned enough to be able to tear the church of scientology to pieces lol. you might also see me laughing my azz off at some comedy book once in a whileNice guy! Real man!
