About Me

I am happily married and have a preschooler. I work for a software company in Rocklin, CA supporting Accounting products. I am not currently going to school but plan to go back to finish my degree at some point. In the meantime I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing games, reading and spending at much time in the sunshine as possible. Life is good.

My Interests

I love to take pictures and my son helps make that easy. I love to scrapbook, play games like Scrabble or Munchkin, hang out with friends, go to the ocean, visit San Francisco and Monterey...pretty much anything that offers a healthy dose of sunshine.

I'd like to meet:

Lots of people! I love meeting new people and making friends.

Music:

How many characters can this box hold? Hmmm.... better be brief just in case... All sorts of music really but I love (in no particular order): Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Imogen Heap, Frou Frou, Coldplay, Dave Matthews (Band), The Cure, Depeche Mode, Peter Murphy, Damien Rice, A Fine Frenzy, Keane, Modest Mouse, Switchfoot, Muse, Bjork, etc. The list really does go on and on. I like just about everything but don't regularly listen to country and can't stand hard core rap. I regularly listen to audiobooks as well thanks to my long afternoon commute. Thank goodness for iPOD!

.. FLIXSTER MCT RESULTS END -Anything Kevin Smith but I am partial to Mall Rats. Comedies such as Super Troopers, Grandma's Boy, Sixteen Candles, Better Off Dead, etc. The Notebook and other good sappy romances. The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars (duh!). I have pretty eclectic taste and enjoy movies that let you feel something.

Television:

Far too much TV!!! I am hooked on House, Grey's Anatomy, LA Ink, 24, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Who's Line Is It Anyway, Myth Busters... Too many to list but if it is interesting or funny, I have probably caught it or thought about watching it. Thank goodness for TIVO!!!

Books:

I end up on random tangents of reading but I am current reading Dean Koontz, Neil Gaiman, and Janet Evanovich. I also regularly read: Dan Brown, Charles De Lint, Anne Rice, Stephen King, current best sellers (I like to know what is current and experiment), all of the Harry Potter books, all of the Series of Unfortunate Events books, Rolling Stone magazine, etc. I read lots of kids books too but I can now cover that with the "I have a kid" excuse!

Heroes:

I can't say that I have a specific hero but if you try and do right you will have my respect.
