About Me

Currently I am an undergrad at Columbia majoring in Print Journalism with a minor in Marketing. I work extremely well with a pen and paper. Being able to express ones feelings without restrictions, openly, and creatively is what i am all about, thats why I love journalism. I work hard in everything i do. I currently am a staff writier for a new online magazine that just went live June 5th go check it out at WWW.GLOSSMAGAZINEONLINE.COM. I also work as an assistant to a publicist named CHRISTI WITH AN EYE where we have a client by the name of Kev Samples. My concentration is in magazines and i want to take magazines as a whole to another level. Not only will I be able to write my own stories, but I will also be able to market them as I find it useful to learn all of the ins and outs about whatever it is that you do!

My Interests

I love writing and I love Music. Writing is my passion and i can create something amazing with a pen and some paper!!!

I'd like to meet:

QUINCY JONES whom I truly believe is a mastermind and also the voice behind VIBE magazine (my favorite mag!). Micheal Jackson- he is the Ultimate entertainer. India Arie- (I believe she has a story within to tell.)

Music:

I LOVE music and all types of it. In order to really enjoy music you have to be well rounded and listen to it all.

Movies:

Finding Nemo; Best man; Love and Basketball; An American Dream; The Notebook; Clueless; meangirls ( I was once a mean girl!!); Rush Hour 1&2; Brown Sugar; The wood; Erin Brochovich; Five Heartbeats

Television:

Don't really watch too much T.V. but I will admit that Flav of Love had me going for a minute. also America's Next top Model. I guess you can call me a Reality T.V. junkie!!

Books:

Because I write, I also like to read! I haven't ran upon a good book lately but some of my favorites are "The Tiping Point" and "Blink" both by Malcolm Gladwell, "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs", "Autobiography of Quincy Jones", "Fabulosity", and "Confessions of an Heiress"- (I like Paris Hilton)

Heroes:

I have encountered a lot of Heroes in my time. Anone who is out there going above and beyond and doing what they want to do is a hero. They give hope to others who may want to reach a level of satisfaction. My personal hero is my mommy because she is the ONLY one i know who has my back more than I do myself and she is also my biggest fan and number 1 supporter, she will also bend over backwards and makes sure that if it is something I want I get it and she does it by herself without complaints!

SOOOO by me being a journalist I figured it was time for me to lay out some of my thoughts. I am going into my third year of college (which is a blessing) but I have a whole new outlook on everything....
