About Me

Whoa, new magazine, new and exciting times. Check out Racket Magazine for the magazine I run. Great people writing great things!
Finally, I'm adding more crap to this.
Things I like: mis amigos Guinness and other delicious alcoholic beverages spanglish, the mixing of languages, not the crapassed movie driving without traffic Thai food recently I have had an obsession with edamame (steamed soybeans) making up songs as I go, especially those created with my friends taking pictures at shows stereotypes sesame seeds working with computers The guys I work with at my day job. my "other" jobs tempura and some sushi
Things I dislike: Political correctness Those who bitch about politics and have no idea what's going on people who believe that Osma Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein were friends people who do not use their turn signals traffic college groupwork people who stand for every cause known to man coors light people who look down on drinking, while they smoke a cigarette
I have lived in: Redlands, San Diego (Mira Mesa, North Park and Golden Hills), Adelanto and now live in Pomona, it's weird to be in civilization again.
Amanda took the Beast. I am now looking for new pets.
I work retail Loss Prevention and I am Music Editor of a free online Music Mag called Racketmag.com. I have also worked at Tower Records in La Jolla and Albertsons in La Jolla and Redlands; Target in Redlands and Fontana.
I graduated from college with degree in Music Business. I am now more a musician than Mike is currently a Biologist, though.
Many would say I am an asshole, I just say I'm telling it how it is. So, whatever. It takes some a while to get to know me, but I think after they do, they would say I'm an OK guy.
I like to go to music shows, which is good because it's part of what I do at Racket. My musical taste sort of varies. I like harder stuff, but can't stand incomprehensible screams or country crooning. Tom Waits will always have a special place in my heart.
I am pretty easily approachable, though, after two years of my profession being to look out for "suspicious activity", I find it difficult to keep eye contact, rather than continuiously scanning the area around me.
I don't think I will ever shake some things from my childhood: -Anything that transforms from a robot into a dinosaur, car or bazooka is awesome and I want one. -Lego's Bionicles are amazing. -I really need to get subscriptions to my favorite x-men comics. -Nightcrawler is my favorite x-men character, and I have no idea why he is in his PJs in the x-men movie. If you ever see a Nightcrawler toy, get it and gimme.
I also like thrift storing and swap-meeting. I also sell stuff on ebay for a few extra bucks, if anyone needs any vintage vacuum tubes, let me know, I gots a shitload. As well as Mario Bros and Gumby Band-aids.
I am going to go. Someone remind me to write more later, and if you want any questions answered, shoot me a message.

Racket Magazine's site is already up, with the print version coming soon! We have interviews with The Rocket Summer, Gwar, New Found Glory, Madness, Over It, Tegan and Sara and More!

Surprisingly, Gandhi is actually a hero for changing as much as he did doing as little as he did.
Amanda's mom is the epitomy of self-lessness and I can't do anything but respect that.
Even though he is pretentious, Bono is one of the few celebrities that does more than play a concert for a benefit, he goes out and helps. But the glasses have to go.
And my mom for helping me not to smoke. Anyone who knows my mom knows why and how.
