Jason Plumb is back, this time with a record full of little beauties. With not an
emotion left untouched, Beauty in this World, is the culmination of many months
effort in studios from Regina to Saskatoon to Edmonton.
Seeking out some of the finest players in Saskatchewan, the band that evolved is
called The Willing. Most of the songs were written with strings in mind. To add
some layers of polish, he enlisted members of the Edmonton Symphony
Orchestra and dubbed them the Broken Heartstrings.
The terrain he--s crossing now is purely adult-pop. Jason has always had pop
sensibilities, but now the stories and their teller have matured. Beauty in this
World is the story.
