CARLOS ____________________________________________________________ ________________Carlos Alberto by Jose Luis (The best friend)_____________________________________________________ _______________________Nobody knows Carlos like I do, my friend, my soulbrother. Twenty-five years of friendship. We met at the age of fourteen and we never split again. If I had not written this biography, he would never have written it. ____________________________________________________________ ________________ Carlos was born in Buenos Aires, in an Italian family from Rome. In 1983 he had begun studying Economics at the University of Buenos Aires. In October of 1984, he traveled to Rome, Italy. A new life begins, after the death of his parents. He takes only two hundred dollars and his dreams with him. In 1985 he had started working and studying at the “Universita Luiss”– private university in Rome, and he graduates with Ph.D. Finance & Business. More post degrees in other universities. His first work experience was as a journalist and writer in ANSA, the news’ agency in Italy. In 1989 he had his first trading company. He focused in privatizations and companies’ acquisitions within ex-communist countries like Russia, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Albania, Poland, Rumania, Hungary, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Estonia. In 1996 he acquires the position of President of the European Committee of The International Chamber of Commerce of Mercosur. Mercosur (Southern Common Market), customs union between Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela, founded in 1991. After that, he re-located in Lugano, Switzerland. In 1997 his beloved daughter, Elena Clara, was born. In 1999 he leaves the Mercosur Committee and founded two holdings companies of international financial taxes and investment consulting in Switzerland and United Kingdom. He now acquires a company for producing fine wines in Argentina, his passion. In 2004 he is named “Caballero de la Orden de Malta” - Knights of Order of Malta. ____________________________________________________________ _________________In 2000, with the help of some friends, he created a Foundation for homeless children. Today the foundation has, in South America, 6 schools, 18 dining rooms for children, 7 medical attention’s rooms and 3 houses for disabled people. More than 870 children depend on this Foundation, which at the same time supports almost 340 families. ____________________________________________________________ _________________ He likes to travel and visited almost all the European and Asian countries. In the 1994, climbed alone the Italian Apennines, Gran Sasso 2.912 metres (9.554 feet). And in 1996 the Aconcagua 6.959 metres (22,831 feet) the world’s second height. As a racing car driver, he gained the fourth position in the European Challenge Championship Ferrari Client - 360 Modena car. He is also a Diving Instructor PADI-CMAS, Boat Leader's and black belt in Aikido.
