Pretty much anything but country and death metal. My absolute favorites are the old school stuff. . .Led Zeppelin & Van Halen are on the top of the list, as are U2, Pink Floyd, the Stones, the Police, the Eagles, the Beatles, the Boss, and almost anything that can be construed as classic rock. My guilty pleasure is shakin' it to some old 70's disco (but don't tell anyone! lol)
The Godfather, Goodfellas, Star Wars, Saturday Night Fever, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Gladiator, Kill Bill, and pretty much anything directed by Scorcese, Tarantino, Lucas, & Spielberg. Best comedies; My Cousin Vinny, Tommy Boy, Jay & Silent Bob flicks. Some foreign films b/c they tend to have more original storylines, less "fluff". I enjoy any type of movie other than hard core horror flicks.WATCH THIS CLIP. . .TOO FUNNY!! .. width="425" height="350" ..
For the most part, TV stinks. It seems to be all reality shows (which are anything but), and who cares, anyway?? I prefer movies. But I'll tune into CSI (Las Vegas), Grey's Anatomy, Prison Break, travel shows, cooking shows & news shows when they're doing an interesting story. Of course sports; football, ice hockey, baseball. (don't call me while there's a GIANTS game on TV!!!) My favorite shows of all time were SEX & THE CITY and THE SOPRANOS.
The last one I read was Little Children by Tom Perrotta. It was about people from different walks of life living in suburbia who are unhappy or dissatisfied, and how their lives intertwined when adultery was thrown into the mix. It was interesting and sad b/c I think a lot of people out there settle and don't really do anything about it. I say life's too short, so if something isn't great, you should change it. Cheating isn't the way out either. . .being alone is better than being in an unhappy relationship.
