Hi there!! I'm Gary (or top as some of my friends call me), because apparently they think i look like gaz top from how 2!!I'm up for meeting any new people, so if you're up for a chat feel free to add me. I love a bit of live music, so if you're a band then I'll likely be interested!I Play drums in "the stereo Kicks", when I'm not working. Well, actually, I played drums in the stereo kicks, but sadly, due to the various members of said band returning home, uni, or the armed forces, it no longer exists.
I work at BBC Television Centre in London as a studio manager. I am quite new to the job, so am still elarning the ropes, but it's a great place to be.
I was taking a music technology course at uni, but left this to take the job.
Over the summer I've been working my university as a student advisor, so I've been going around schools and colleges giving talks and quizzes on uni life.
Absolutely loved uni , and didn't want to leave as I was a warden in halls: a nice bit of free accommodation for a year, with lots of party's and fun.

My Interests

Music, sport, fun things!

I'd like to meet:

Cool, happy people who are up for a laugh!! Anyone who thinks that a website with random characters from neighbours, and other shows on it, aswell as unsigned bands, can only be a good thing!!

Music:

Anything with proper instruments! Particularly into new bands such as Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Killers, Keane, feeder, orson, snow patrol, athlete, magic numbers, killers, the feeling and retro stuff like Guns n Roses, anything that's good really! Also like anything cheesy, fun and happy
Like to watch local band just making a go of things. Play drums in band, "the stereo kicks", check us out in my friends.

Movies:

Love a bit of comedy, and lighthearted films.
Van Wilder has got to be the best film I've ever seen. I know films like that get a bit of stick for all being the same, but that is just amazing! Has anyone else seen Bill and Teds Excellent adventure, that's another great film.
If I was in a serious mood, then forrest gump is great.
The most pointless film I have ever seen is easy Rider: Two guys ride around America with some money, and get shot at the end. Thats the basic premise!!
I'll give anything a try though! If they ever bring out a saw 3, I don't think I'll see that, Saw 2 was pretty gruesome.

Television:

Neighbours, Family Guy, Baywatch, Simpsons, American Dad, Futurama, Deal or no Deal

Books:

The Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter, Dave Gorman.

Heroes:

Bill Hicks: That guy knows the score! Phil Collins: That guy can drum!
