It all started back in 2000, when i heard by coincidence the Blank & Jones album "DJ Culture" for the first time. Music was already before that moment a very special thing for me and i heard some tracks in this style already in the past, but this album was really a turning point in my life and it really changed something in me. I immediately felt that this music is something that will acompany me for the rest of my life, cause no other thing until this moment shocked me so much as this music! Since the day i heard this album i got interested in this music style more and more and through the next months i totally fell in love with trance and i also started to explore this music on the internet (my inborn talent for german language helped me a lot with that)! I was spending most of my free time on the german and english trance forums and learning about the trance scene, collecting informations about the new released tracks, producers, DJs, playlists and talking with other trance fans about this beautiful music! Trance music was already at that time a big part of my life and loved it with every day and every new track more and more!
But the moment when my love for trance totally exploded, was the event "Nature One" on 02.08.2001 and the (for me personaly) legendary set by Blank & Jones. I turned on the TV when i came at home and by coincidence i saw that on VIVA was a live broadcast from this event and that Blank & Jones were playing. It was really such a special moment for me...i will never forget this! After few minutes of listening, i knew immediately: "Yes! That's it! This is what i want in my life!" I couldn't believe what i've heard! I couldn't believe there is so wonderful music on this world! I had a feeling that i'm listening to myself! I had a feeling that it's coming straight out of me! I though: "WOW...this is who i am!" It was such a special atmosphere during the whole set that i was having goosebumps all the time. Especialy the moment when they played a track "Phrenetic System - Intencity" totally fascinated me and i was really in shock! For the first time in my life music touched me so, that i had tears in my eyes and it also made me cry! But on the other side i was smiling cause i was so happy! It was such an overdose of emotions! It was pure magic and for the first time i really understood what it means to feel the music...how much power this music can have and give to you if you really feel it!
Well...and on this day everything somehow started! Music became the most important thing in my life! All other things in my life became less important to me. I didn't interest for almost nothing anymore, i just wanted to enjoy, explore this music! Since this day i know that this music, trance music, is my life, my biggest passion, the thing on this world that interests and makes me happy the most from all and i'm really happy and proud for understanding this unique music! Trance is not just a hobby, to enjoy listening during your freetime, it's more than that, some kind of a way of seeing things, a way to live your life! I'm listening every day a few hours to trance music! I just never ever get enough!! I just need it in my life! It's like a drug! I can't explain totally why trance music means so much to me...but when i listen to it, i'm the happiest person on the planet! For me, music is not just music (like for the most of the people). For me, music is a sacred thing! A way of life! One of the biggest gifts that we people have (beside love)! Music is, next to love, unable to be described as something. Thru the music you can show all your emotions, express all your feelings, show all your real personality, show who you really are! Only the music makes us dream, only the music makes us feel what surrounds us and what we love! I respect all kind of quality music, all kind of music artists which writes music with love and passion. No matter of style. I just need to feel that the track is coming from the heart, i need to feel the story of the track, i need to hear myself in the track. And i can do this especialy with electronic (instrumental) music. Especialy with trance, which is full of emotions, full of wonderfull stories! Sometimes a 5 second part of a track can say more then 1000 words. Music is the only thing where i really feel totally free. Where i am, what i really am! Trance is like a natural drug to me! It's such a big part of my life that i simply can't imagine my life without this music anymore! I simply couldn't live without this music! I know i wouldn't be happy without it! I know this is maybe hard to believe, but it really is so! Thru the last years i have meet many producers, DJs, trance freaks and friends thru the internet. And many of them remember me for being one of the biggest trance fans on the world and this is the thing that is making me the most proud of. I'm also up to date with everything what is going on on the trance scene. All the news, releases...i don't miss anything! There are not many trance tunes in the last 15 years that i haven't heard and i know alot of them better then myself, cause i've been listening to them more then a milion times. But it's always so special that i have a feeling like i hear the track for the first time. It's realy unbelievable! Some people maybe think that i'm not normal, that i'm strange, that i'm wasting my time, life or whatever they think about my love for this music...but i don't give a shit about these people! This are that kind of people which don't understand that every person has his own interests in life. I found my life passion...and it's this music...for sure! Trance music is my life and i'm sure i will be addicted to this music for my whole life!
This music gave me and gives me sooo much in my life! Unfortunatly i can't explain you this with words...what this music is doing to me when i listen to it (yet i am not always showing this from the outside)! It's just something unique in this music! Something totally different compared to other music styles. I can't really explain that with words! The feelings that i have when i'm listening to that music! How much i feel this dreamy atmospheres and stories in the tracks. Like every single element of the track would transfuse through my veins, like i am in this music...my thoughts, feelings, emotions, stories i wanna tell...such a shame that i can't show what's happening in my head when i listen to this music! How i feel the emotions in the tracks...the story that the music is telling you...how the music makes me think...about the life...how it brings me back memories! When i'm listening to trance i have a feeling that i'm going with every single track on a trip, like every single track is a new experience, a new story. It's unbelieveable! It really touches me totaly! I totally lose myself into music and fly high and into other dimensions. I often heave tears in my eyes and also cry, so much i feel this music! When i'm listening to trance i'm a totaly different person, on a totaly different planet! This music makes me feel so special! Once I hear trance, it seems to me that everything is perfect for a while in the world (that everything is going to be ok)! Trance music never dissapoints me. Trance gives me the power...makes me happy and fills me with energy...i forget about all my all day problems...i feel totally free! It's realy amazing! Unfortunatly not many people understand the structure and builds of trance music! Trance is a music style you can't define. You must feel this music, the atmosphere, the emotions in the tracks! Close your eyes and let the music, the melody guide you. When you embrace the energy of the pure ecstatic bliss and focus it on yourself. This music makes you feel so special and unique! This is for me the biggest magic of trance music! You don't actually listen to it, but you feel it and you get totally hypnotized by it! It's like a magic! It's like a journey! Every single track has a different story to tell, has a special mood, special atmosphere and gives special pictures to your mind. There are tracks that give lot of energy and others that make feel very sad. It's energetic and relaxing at the same time. It can make you forget all the world around you and for a short time travel to some other dimension and it makes you think everything else is worthless at that moment and just let enjoy the music and be what you realy are! I hope you can imagine now a little bit how much this music means to me and how much i love it! But you will never understand it completly. Maybe you think that i'm exaggerating...but believe me, i'm not! These words here now are nothing compare to this what i feel when i'm listening to this music! I gave up alot of things in my life, just for enjoying this music! And i regret nothing! I never even thought that one thing in your life can so much affect you and mark your life so much as this music affected mine! I still can't believe this after 7 years of listening to this music every day! How beautiful this music is and how big connection is there between me and this music! I live for this music! It's the biggest part of me and my life and will it always be!!!

Especialy thanks to Laurent Veronnez (Airwave), Jezper Söderlund (Airbase), Ferry Corsten (System F, Gouryella), Nu-NRG, M.I.K.E., Steve Helstrip (The Thrillseekers), Marino Stephano, Vincent De Moor, Above & Beyond, Rank 1, Svenson & Gielen, Blank & Jones, Darren Tate and Fred Baker! This are the main artists who's fault it is that i'm so much trance addicted! This guys made me trance addicted with their amazing music years ago! They are all my heroes and i love and respect them all, forever! But i need to mention one man especialy: LAURENT VERONNEZ! I know that history has brought us many unbelievable musicians, like classic composers (Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Verdi and many, many others), 20th century composers like Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Ennio Morricone, Brian Eno, Hans Zimmer, John Debney, John Williams, Nobuo Uematsu, Michael Cretu (Enigma), Mike Oldfield, Brian Transeau (BT), Oliver Lieb and, and, and...everybody has his own favourites. All this guys are legends! But on the list of all this music geniuses also Laurent Veronnez needs to be mentioned! For me personaly, this man is the biggest music genius on the planet, the biggest musician (producer) of all time and a person on this world which i most adore and respect! I don't know which words should i use to explain you how big my admiration for this man is, but i will try. For me he is a god, the only person on this world which i really admire! What Muhammad is for the muslims and what Jesus is for the christians, this is L-Vee for trance music (everybody who listens to trance for more then 5 years will agree with me)! Not only because of his work in electronic music world without a compare, but also for his unique personality and his passion for music and producing! This guy produced more than 500 tracks of all styles of electronic music and most of them are so original, so special & unique, so full of emotions, expressed feelings, so clear and perfectly produced! It's really amazing, it's realy a magic and you can't understand what i'm writing here if you haven't heard some of his greatest and most legendary tracks and if you don't understand electronic music. Laurent has a gift from god that not many people on this world have or had, for being able to write the most beautiful and emotional (sometimes depressive, melancholy) melodies and creating dreamy atmospheres! Nobody is producing so emotional music and atmospheres in the tracks as Laurent! For sure he is a music genius, no question about that! Trance is a music that you need to feel if you want to understand it. And with Laurent's music is this even more the case. If you can't do it, he will be maybe just an average or boring musician to you. But if you can do it, you hear how much heart and passion is in his productions and you realize sooner or later why he is so unique and one of the biggest music masters of our time! But not only this. You would expect from a guy which wrote the history of electronic dance music to be acting like a star. But not Laurent! He is so down to earth as no other musician, close to his fans! He is a big personality (all people who meet him in real live say this) and you can hear exactly this in his music! I'm sure that a human being who is not also a great person, can't produce such magical, emotional sounds and everybody who understands his music and knows the stories about him, knows what i am writing here. This guy is a person that we can all look up to! In every point of view! Laurent is a legend, icon, mythos of electronic music and without him trance in the last 15 years wouldn't be that what it is today! He is one of the main figures of this music and all the trance fans knows for what the name L-Vee always stands: quality music! That's why he is one of the most respected guys on the scene ever! Even more respected then all this superstar DJs like Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten or Paul Oakenfold. And this is what means to him much more then all the money and fame this superstar DJs get, he says. When it comes to producing, they all together don't reach him, that's a fact! Believe me, i know the trance music history very well and there is no other artist which produced so many great music constantly in all this years. He always stayed tru to his style, he always produced music because of fun and passion for it, not like many other artist for money and fame. I strongly believe he is the best thing that ever happend to trance music and electronic music in general and i know many people agree with me here! I'm sure i will be enjoying his wonderful music pieces for my whole life! I'm sure we will never again see such an unique artist as he is, so enjoy it people! Enjoy every single minute in this guys music! One of my biggests life wishes is to meet Laurent and just thank him personally for everything what he made with his music in my life! For all the hours i spent with listening to his music and wondering how can a normal human being produce so beautiful music! And if everything goes well, it will happen soon!!! :) I hope i can shake my hand with the biggest human on this planet for me and the biggest inspiration in my life! His music really inspired me in many things in my life and it helped me to understand some important things in life! Laurent explained me thru his music what it means to feel and love! He showed me how happy we can be for everything we have in our lifes! He showed me what "trance" realy means, what it means to experience trance. He showed me why i'm living for - music! There are too many briliant tracks from him to mention right now, but tracks like "Innerspace", "Escape From Nowhere", "Why", "Sunset", "Close 2 Me", "Moonshine" and "Because" will always be a part of me and my personality! Thank you Laurent...thank you for every single track you made! I BOW TO YOU!!!
I often ask myself, why aren't there more people who like trance music!? Do they not understand it? Do they not feel this beautiful, dreamy atmospheres and stories in the tracks? Am i (are we trancers) really so different then other people? I don't think so! But the answer and the truth in this question is quite simple. People don't know it! Most of the people never heard a real trance track. 90% of them think trance is techno or just all the time the same: boom, boom, boom! Or trance music is rave music (wtf?) :) And some of the people think trance music are artists like Cascada, Groove Coverage, Scooter, Jan Wayne, Mark Oh, Starsplash, Topmodelz, Crazy Frog, Special D...terrible! And i think that is one of the main reasons why trance music is not more popular and respected. People simply don't know it and confuse it with some other electronic music style which is totally different! Maybe it's true that some of the dance and trance tracks are a little bit similar in the structure (at least for some people). But it's not about the elements in music, it's about the atmosphere! And this is the thing that's making trance music so unique and different compare to other music styles. No other music style takes you so much on a emotional journey! This special euphoric in the music, this is the biggest magic of trance! This music is so special, it makes you feel so special...it's a shame that people are missing this unforgetable experience to feel this music! I hope i can help maybe with this in the future! I hope i can show as many people as possible what is real trance music! I hope i can show them this special atmosphere of this music with my DJ sets! So they will understand, feel and enjoy this music! Let them forget their all day problems for a night and just enjoy, experience the music! Presenting and spreading trance music to the slovenians and people all over the world, showing them all my personality thru my favourite tunes in my mixes. Explaing to them with my sets why i dedicated my life to this music, why i love this music so much. This are my biggest life dreams! I strongly believe real trance music will be respected in the future like it desirves! I'm sure this time will come! If i wouldn't believe this, i would never buy myself expensive DJ equipment and would listen to music just by myself at home. But on the other side, trance music isn't mainstream music and it never will be, thank god! I think this is also one of the things that is making trance so special. That not many people understand it and this is one of the reasons why it's so magical. I realy don't care to which music somebody listens to. Rather it's pop, dance, house, rock, metal, jazz, punk, country, classic or any other music style. Everyone should listen to the music he likes, the music he feels (this is the most important thing in music)! But it's bouthering me that most of the people are giving all the music on the same quality level! It's sad to see that "artists" that are just making fools out of themselfs and music and make music just for earn some quick money, the same or even more admired and respected then real artists, which live for their music and writes it with love and passion for years and have some originality in their music which makes them so special. This is what it's bouthering me!!! Anyway...for me it's important that i found MY music which i so much enjoy, love and respect! The music that is so special and unbelieveable for me and that is giving me so much joy, pleasure, happiness and unforgetable experiences - TRANCE music!
