About Me

I'm not checking this profile as much anymore. Come see me at Inside. Go on, its tops on my friends list.I'm a very energetic and creative kind of person, always on the go and living a high-stress lifestyle. I make the busiest people in Chicago feel kind of lazy. This of course means I play pretty hard as well. I take my leisure pretty seriously. I write books in the horror genre, non-fiction, comedy and other assorted literary essays, play in a band or four (usually bass, but guitar and soon piano, drums, touchstyle and violin as well), and am starting a company that is building musical instruments in graphite. I also have a media studio starting that will produce film, television and video games. I'm planning on getting into some fashion design soon, just have to pick up a sewing machine. I have plans on clothing in the goth-fetish-bondage vein. I have some designs already sketched, and whenever I get a moment I do more. I guess that's my most visual thing right now. I'm also taking Japanese language classes and brushing up my German. Yeah, I keep myself busy. I do manage to be really easy-going through all of it, and very humble, though I realize I sound a bit full of it here. It's not braggadocio, just a lot of energy and optimism. I'm a very kind hearted, dedicated and supportive friend, if you can get past my initial uncertainty. My general attire is dark, though I hesitate to say goth, I don't fully fit that definition. Dark just fits my general imagination better. Right now, I'm just up for living life well and to the fullest. Right now I'm mostly consumed by my latest book, the ideas and plot and characters are coming almost faster than I can write it down, and I hope to actually start setting text down in a couple weeks. It's about the darkest, most fantastic thing I could possibly write about love in this world. Hmmm.....wonder if it is inspired by recent events? Some of you have heard the plot. Its my first work with really deeply emotional characters, and a world-wide plotline. I'm back locked in flow and so if I seem spacey at a given moment, its because I'm getting an idea. Don't mind me.

My Interests

Wow, uh, where to begin? Romantic poets, Chaplin movies, the symphony, the theatre, horror, Shakespeare, Smithwicks beer, and a developing taste for fine wine, bondage and kinky sex, late dark nights illuminated by candles, good Thai resturants, my good friends, puppies, vintage mustangs, geniuses, cat days, traveling adventures, foreign languages, words, pianos, really lively eyes, lists,

I'd like to meet:

People who can keep up with me. People who have a very dynamic personality and style. Intelligence goes a very long way with me, and a lust for the good things in life goes even further. If you're a little kinky and adventurous, its even better. I'm resolving to learn a few langagues this year as well, so if you're interested in that, drop a line. Any musicians or creative collaborators are welcome, as well.If you're somebody I don't know, you'll hav eto message me before I add you. I'm not a myspace whore. And if you're just looking to advertise your porn site, don't bother.

Moving forward again

I think I've felt a bit of the usual post-major project stress over the last week or so. Getting past it quickly, though. Got to hang out a bit with Thatiana the other night, and it was a good tim...

Catching up

So the shows we played last weekend were a bit harried. Or, at least the opening night. We didn't rehearse the last third of the show before we went on, not even a cue-to-cue. We didn't even have soun...

Finished the broad outline of the next book, except for some sub-plots that are more reactive than proactive, and Claire's plotline as she goes through her run of really evil men. Being a force of goo...

Ahhh....inspiration

So I'd been grinding on a new idea for something, had a few images, and this week its turned itself into a wonderfully dark plot line. Probably the darkest story I can imagine about love. And it reall...
