Hi my name is Michele and I am the single, sassy and proud mother of 2 wonderful children ages 12 & 15. I am a 41 year old survivor of DID[formerly MPD], Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Spiritual Abuse, Child Abuse, Sexual Abuse which was most recently diagnosed as Schizoaffective Disorder. I was diagnosed as totally & permanently disabled due to these conditions in June of 2004 and have been successfully been medication/hospitalization free since November of 2004! It is primarily due to receiving the proper therapy for my conditions and maintaining a healthy & balanced lifestyle...
It seems as if I am continually working on my bio and always include more about my life and experiences than most people really want to know, but I am a firm believer in telling like it is and letting you be the judge and decide whether or not you want to get to know the real me.
So for now I just want to introduce myself and say how proud I am to be a survivor of my mental challenges. I am grateful and blessed to have made it this far in my recovery and I have faith that some day I will make it all the way to my desired destination and become a minister and author. I am inspired and driven to pass on my experience and wisdom to others, assisting my fellow survivors and families on their journey to recovery.
Don't ever consider yourself a victim or disabled, because those of us that have any diagnosis condition and have made it to this point of our recovery are survivors and are victorious over our challenges. When you look at your life remember you have survived a considerable amount more than most of society, in all areas of life. This includes psychologically, emotionally, socially and in all other aspects of your daily living. Congratulations, it is an honorable and respected accomplishment. Keep your head up and smile, it looks good on you. You never know who may be looking to you for a little hope on their journey. Just remember even the smallest step in a positive direction can result in a giant leap in your future and the future of those around you.

THE ONLY THING THAT COMES CLOSE WOULD BE MY SECOND LOVE ~ WHICH WOULD BE MUSIC. I LOVE IT ALL FROM CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN TO MOSH PIT METAL. EVERY GENRE AND EVERY GENERATION OF MUSIC...I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH. I LOVE LIFE'S LYRICS AND MASTERING ITS MUSICAL MELODY.
I SPEND A LOT OF MY FREE TIME ATTENDING SHOWS, HANGING OUT WITH MY FRIENDS AT THEIR GIGS PROMOTING THEIR BANDS AND MUSIC

SOMEONE WHO SHARES THE SAME INTERESTS THAT I HAVE, THAT I CAN LAUGH & HAVE FUN WITH. SOMEONE WHO IS KNOWS HOW TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT AND ISN'T AFRAID OF WHAT TOMORROW MIGHT BRING. I'M NOT INTERESTED IN THE WHOLE FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS THING OR BECOMING SOMEONE'S "OLD BALL & CHAIN". I WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOMEONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN HAVING A LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP BUT NOT LOOKING TO GET MARRIED ANYTIME SOON. I BELIEVE IN HAVING AS MUCH INDEPENDANCE IN A RELATIONSHIP AS POSSIBLE WHILE STILL MAINTAINING ALL THE COMFORTS AND SECURITY WE CAN EXPECT FROM BEING INVOLVED IN A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP. I AM AT A POINT IN MY LIFE WHERE I AM NOT AT ALL INTERESTED IN MARRIAGE AND I BELIEVE I AM FAR FROM TAKING THAT STEP. I HAVE MADE A COMMITTMENT TO BEING A FULL TIME PARENT TO MY 2 CHILDREN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS AND I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT AS A PARENT I SHOULD INVOLVE MY MY KIDS IN MY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS DUE TO OBVIOUS REASONS. {MY KIDS SHOULD NOT BE SUBJECT TO HAVING THEIR LIVES DISRUPTED DUE TO MY PERSONAL CHOICES OR ADULT RELATIONSHIPS.}

HONESTY & RESPECT IS ALL I ASK. I KNOW HOW TO COMPROMISE AND IM WILLING TO TAKE THE TIME & MAKE THE EFFORT TO MAKE ALL OUR DREAMS BECOME REALITY
