| Great music is that which penetrates the ear with facility and leaves the memory with difficulty...Sir Thomas Beecham | Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent... Victor Hugo | Music is the movement of sound to reach the soul for the education of its virtue... Plato | Music has a power of forming the character, and should therefore be introduced into the education of the young... Aristotle | Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart... Pablo Casals | Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life... Berthold Auerbach | Nothing separates the generations more than music. By the time a child is eight or nine, he has developed a passion for his own music that is even stronger than his passions for procrastination and weird clothes... Bill Cosby | After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music... Aldous Huxley | The best way to learn about a person is to watch them create music. Watching people play always fascinates me. I can't get enough of it. Especially watching people play the piano, one person in particular.
