About Me

Life has definitely rolled too fast for me. First in 2007, I lost one of the sweetest brothers that a sister come have in a terrible automobile accident. Dale loved to joke and tease. Everybody loved him that knew him. I feel like he left us way too early, but God must be wanting some angels in heaven. I know he's having a great time playing music and catching up with our other loved ones. After 32 years of marriage to one of the greatest and sweetest guys, it suddenly ended on this side of this world. My sweet hubby, Bobby, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 25, 2007 after a battle with cancer. I believe he won that battle! However his legacy lives on with a beautiful daughter, Miranda, who I'm so, so blessed with. She is married and has a great husband along with a "pretty black lab dog named Buddy" who has become a great addition to our family! I did social service time work for 13 years and than had to "retire" after 3 back surgeries. I sure miss working. I love helping people. It seems to have been something I've done all of my life. Right now, I'm just taking a day at a time and just waiting to see what life brings me next. It's rolling pretty fast!

This seems to be a great site. I discovered I had a convicted rapist within 2 blocks of my house.

My Interests

I love to read, watch good television shows, etc. I don't have the talent of crafts,etc. to keep me busy.

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to meet some of my school buddies that I've lost contact with over the years. It would be great to become acquainted again with them and catch up on their lives.

Music:


I love southern gospel music, some light contempory praise music and also love the "oldies" from the 70's. I also like some of the country music that is coming out now. Especially in the last year or so.

Movies:

I love romantic, comedy movies. Too many to list.

Television:

I like to watch drama and again romantic comedy movies. I love all of the ole "Law and Order" shows. Who knows, maybe I'll become a detective!

Books:

I like to read several different fiction novels. I love the civil war era.

Heroes:

I know this sounds very "righteous" or whatever you want to call it, but my Hero has got to be Jesus Christ. He done so much for me! I also have a second hero to add. My hubby, Bobby, that went on to be with the Lord on Nov. 25, 2007 has got to be that hero. He was so tough with the sickness he endured for so long. And I know he endured alot of suffering for his family. He was very strong and a very unique person.

More vent time

Here it is already April. And it’s moving fast. April started out rather tough for me. You see, April 1st, April Fool’s Day was always such a fun day at our house. Bobby was such a teaser....
