Outside and within my career in real estate and home loans; which I love, I understand that life is about the paths you choose and the experiences you have along your journey. I try to include new experiences,challenges, adventures, and thrills within this journey since I prefer a path with highs and lows over a straight,narrow, and boring/lame one. Yes, I do believe in taking the road less traveled as long as it's your own choosing and one that gives you the greatest personal experiences and growth. I like this quote: "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!" I am up to try new things but have lessened the risk factor. I no longer climb utility towers, try tackling a mean German Shepard while he is eating and not get bit, "Didn't work...he jumped up and got my ear while I was running, but at least he missed my jugular!!"....(See more life lessons from a dog below), pretend I am Super Man while jumping off the roof of the house, pop wheelies in my Dad's tractor, or do inner tube truck pulls down canals anymore so at least I have learned to tone it down, so that's a good thing.I like casual environments, relaxing with friends, water/beach activies, drinking a beer and watching a sporting event. But I am not at all against playing a game of chess, reading a good book, or sharing profound thoughts and ideas with someone. I am a free thinker who doesn't believe in being labelled as a certain type ie., well, you must be this political type since you said blah, blah, blah. I am not a "democrat" or a "republican", but I believe in a democratic republic. People should get away from the labeling mode, making blanket statements-like all democrates/republicans are...., and use more independent thought instead of just buying into the perceived "norm" or mainstream jargon. I have my own opinions and beliefs and respect others opinions and beliefs, and like hearing new perspectives/view points especially if they allow me to see things in a different light and with deeper perspective. I trust and admire people who take action for the sake of principle, and for the sake of justice.I try to appreciate everything life has to offer or throw at me while making spirituality and my faith in God more of who I am, and what I represent. I'm determined, ambitious, and fun loving. I like meeting interesting people, and live life to the fullest extent possible without causing myself bodily harm (well, most of the time)....
Some people always think that the grass is greener on the other side, but I say the grass is the greenest where you water it. So go water your own damn crab grass to make it greener instead of looking at your neighbors lawn! :)
