Being strung out on heroin on Wednesday afternoons (KIDDING! Sheesh! Mornings are better).
I love riding my Harley and taking road trips. Wanna go?
I play guitar and write my own tunes. Art and entertainment (movies, music), history, personal growth, exploring the esoteric dimensions of the universe are also interests.
My taste in cuisine is diverse (can eat anything from fast food to gourmet -- gourmet is often better). There's something exceptional to be said about a well-balanced, blood-heavy Cab or a silky Bordeaux.
I can go out hiking, or kick back for a quiet evening at home. I'm an excellent conversationalist and can talk about anything. "Meaning of life" conversations are my favorite. I enjoy a good game of poker (and play weekly with some good friends). It's been a winning month. Board games are cool too. I'll kick your ass!
Several close friends are among my most valued treasures in life.
I'd like to meet:
Some sleazy, utterly shallow, ego-driven, callous, materialistic bimbo with DD's, who's only into meaningless sex, and has no appreciation for sarcasm.
Just kidding. Already found her . . . and I'm
MISERABLE! I guess I'll just have to live without the DD's.
Though . . . I often appreciate meeting enjoyable people . . . especially intelligently sarcastic ones.
As for networking and business . . .

Music:
I like many styles of music, from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal, Classical to Alternative Rock, Bluegrass to Blues, some Jazz, New Age . . . But, count me out on most Rap. My favorite song is, "Ripple," by the Grateful Dead.
Movies:
I'm a movie slut. Chick flix are out for me! Must you really drag me to one to prove that I care about you? Anyway, some of my favorites are: "Gandhi," "Braveheart," "Amadeus," "Dangerous Liaisons," "City Slickers," "The Return of Martin Guerre" . . .
Television:
I don't do a lot of television . . . I like "The Sopranos" (boo hoo, it's over), some "CSI," and "Law And Order."
Books:
I like personal growth, spiritual, metaphysics, some fiction, sci-fi, history, biographies, and barnyard erotica. Next to "Gurta: The Bavarian Milkmaid," Khalil Gibran's, "The Prophet," is my favoritist book.
Heroes:
Is this anything like how I feel about world peace? First, I think there's a big difference between "role models" and heros. A hero has something extra -- the willingness to sacrifice.
A real hero to me is someone who risks his life for others. I value the moral and honest individuals in our military, law enforcement, emergency services, etc. Anyone who puts his/her ass on the line for me or others is a hero. Beyond that, there are some good role models in all walks of life. But "heroism" is much deeper.
People like THESE are heroes . . .
Pearl Harbor survivor Houston James of Dallas embraced Marine Staff Sgt. Mark Graunke Jr. during a Veterans Day commemoration in Dallas Yesterday. Graunke lost a hand, a leg and an eye when he defused a bomb in Iraq last year.
