Hi, I'm Gertjan Kampen from the Netherlands, most probably the most boring person on earth. Good thing I don't care to much about that ^_^
I no longer study mechanical engineering, couldn't manage to get all credits and got kicked out off school... and it sucks pretty bad to be honest...

I keep myself entertained by listening music and visiting conserts and other events. I'm also a bit of a 3d artist, however I never finish any project because I lack inspiration and skills, I should try to do something about that, but ATM I can't be bothered to do so.

Some people think I'm always down and depressed. This thought is not without reason, because quite often I feel bad. Though this is just because I am a social person, and I just need to have people arround to communicate with and have fun with to keep me happy. It's a bit of a wierd deviation, but it's origin comes from that fact that a lot of my friends let me down, and that I never had a lot of friends. No time for selfpitty here, I learned to live with it, but sometimes I just get quite depressed and mad over it.

Well hmm... starting to run low on inspiration now, whats left to say. Many things go unsaid, but thats more because I don't want to bother people with my issue's, I'd rather help people get rid of their problems then solving my own.

Music:

I play music myself, A thing I really like to do that because it's a great escape from this ****** reality. I have some experience in playing keyboard (arround 3 to 4 years) and am currently focusing on playing drums ^_^

Together with a friend of mine I started this sort of "band" idea. It's nothing to serious, but we cover songs and jam a lot. It's great fun, and very educative to play together. We both are quite new to our instruments so it really is a learning thing, but it's fun, and thats what matters most ;)

Next to that I really like listening music. I'm not really focused on one particular style. I think in an open way, and I learned a lot of new styles in the last few years. All thanks to a few good friends. Nowadays I mostly listen to the next list of music:

- Metal (heavy, epic, power, semi-black, industrial, gothic, dico, melodic, progressive, melodic-black)

- Rock (hard, progressive)

- Punk / Ska

- Electronic / Techno / Industrial (only recently started to like this music. Good examples are Misery, The Kovenant and Darude)
- Classic / ambient (Things like : Tori Amos, Enya and other more relaxing music streams)
