Tray-C Malekai Goode

My name is Tracy Goode. I am a professional musician and vocalist. I play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass guitar. I play Line 6 guitars, Yamaha basses, and Line 6 amps. I use a Variax 500, Flextone III XL, and Low Down LD300 Pro, all bought from Musicians Friend, and I play a Yamaha TRB-1005 that I picked up at the Guitar Center in Nashville. I started playing guitar at age 14 when my dad, who is also a bassist, took me to the local music shop and asked if I wanted to take guitar lessons. Coming from a family of musicians and singers (Mom, Dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandfather), it came to me pretty quickly and I started playing in night clubs with my parents when I was 15. At age 17, my guitar instructor decided to change careers and I was asked to take his position. I taught guitar for several years, and still teach occasionally at local music stores and home teaching everything from open chords, to scales and modes, to how to read guitar tabs. Through the years I've had several of my own original and cover bands playing mainly rock and metal, occasionally going back to the club scene playing country, rock, dance, etc. I recently decided to record my own full length rock CD "Autonomous" under my nick name Malekai. I recorded and produced the album in just under 1 1/2 years. The CD has done very well and I can honestly say that it is a great album. I just started playing bass guitar a few years ago and am currently playing bass for The Brandi Thornton Band (BTB) which I have been with since May of 2007. The BTB has opened for many major acts including Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Craig Morgan, and John Anderson, just to name a few. We just finished up our first full length music video to Brandi's song "Real" which you can see below.

I want to say thanks to everyone who has bought my the CD "Autonomous". I'm so happy that so many people are excited about it.
