Hi, everyone. My name is Matthew Jorrel Palanca and I am currently attending my second year at the beautiful campus of UC Santa Barbara. I’m working towards a Film and Media Studies major, and I have an irrevocable passion for cinema, music, design, and the arts in general.

I love jamming out on my guitar and listening to gnarly tunes. I’m a pretty chill guy who likes watching the tele and going to the movies, and as of late, I’ve been really into singing and dancing (poorly).

I admire a lot of cool cats, but the few who I hold close to my heart include my parents, my bro Marc, and my little sister Jewel. They inspire me to be a better person, and I know that I wouldn't be where I am today without them. Simply put, they make me happy.
