I love to garden, ride my motorcycle, learn new things, hike in the woods, listen to music, watch TV, be lazy occasionally, read books, spend time with friends, ....
My old bike. A 1986 Honda Rebel. I had it for 8 years and just traded it in for this one....
A 2005 Honda Shadow VLX. Yeah! More power. I love it!

Life is the journey drawing you to discover who you are. When you make that move to ride strong, beautiful and independent down the highway you make that all-powerful statement, "I know who I am and where I'm going; but I'm not in a great big hurry to get there. I'll let the wind run its fingers through my hair, caressing my mind, caressing soul. I'll feel the calm wash over me as I watch the beauty of the countryside float past my eyes. I'll watch the sun rise in the morning and set in the evening as I cruise through thoughts of just how incredible life can be. I'll feed my hungry soul and my thirsty spirit both yearning to be free; and in the end I will be free. I will live that way til the day I die. I am an Iron Cowgirl. My soul belongs to me."
One of my favorite quotes from Henry David Thoreau.

I like lots of music as long as I can understand the words and there isn't profanity or obscene word pictures. Classic rock, country (not the nasal kind), Easy Listening, Blues,(Gary Moore is awesome) .... I love to play my keyboard too although it's strictly for my own enjoyment. I also hope to continue my guitar lessons someday.**************************************************** ************************** ***************************************************
24, Prison Break, CSI, Lost, Becker, Everyone Loves Raymond, Mad About You reruns,House ... Of course, most of these are winter pastimes. Who has time in the summer?
The Earth's Children's Series by Jean Auel, anything by Danielle Steele or Nora Roberts. The list is really too long to even attempt. I grew up in a family of 7 children and we had no TV until I was at least 16 years old. Our evening entertainment was my Mom reading to us for hours and hours on end. She would read until she was hoarse and then we would just take turns bringing her water to drink and beg her to keep on reading. Just a few of the series she read to us: Little House Series, C.S. Lewis Narnia Series, Christy, Light from Heaven, ....Repeat after me... "Books are my friends"
