I have a plethora of interests. The range is wide and diverse. From sitting at home relaxing, cooking, & walking on the river, to skydiving, museums, art shows, and traveling to the farthest parts of the world to enjoy different cultures. I'm living life in FULL ..thanks CBT):-)
I'm meeting Jesus, are you? I'm meeting many of the people I would've loved to have met and that's a blessing. I would like to meet the creators and company execs for Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Squares with Caramelized Almonds so I can lay hands on them and praise God publicly for their efforts. There is some of God's glory invested in that candy, and He is pleased! I'd also like to meet Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Percy Bady, Lloyd Barry, EWF, Bono, Oprah, Katie Couric, and Bill & Hillary Clinton.
There are so many artists that I love, it's almost impossible to name them all. I will attempt to name as many as I can think of: EWF, The Emotions, The Jones Girls, Stevie Wonder, Michael McDonald, Dionne Warwick, Natalie Cole, Ella Fitzgerald-my goodness I love her, The Thompson Community Singers-my all time favorite choir, Whitney Houston-if she nevers sings anything else she has given me more than enough to remember her for the rest of my life, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Donald Lawrence and the Tri City Singers, Kim Burrell-what is wrong with her? She is MAD!, Kelly Price-makes no sense, Faith Evans-my studio inspiration, The Clark Sisters, Kiki Sheard, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, The Caravans, The Barrett Sisters-no relation that I know of, Blessed Generation-my group, BG3-my sisters and I, To three very special ladies who are wonderful singers and claim they can't sing: Judith Christie McAllister, Christie Taylor, and Sharon Jackson -I have witnessed some outstanding vocals from these women, especially that Sharon Jackson "HIGHER" SANG SHARON!!!!!:-),Jennifer Holliday, Richard-phenomenal Smallwood, My Mom-who was the main musician who inspired me, Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, Mary Mary, Tonex-this guy is CRAZY! MAD!, many more :-)
One of my favorite movies of all time is "Harlem Nights." Man, the line when Della Reese says "You can kiss my entire $%^!" That is so funny. I do have a number of movies I enjoy. Two Weeks Notice, and any James Bond films are my most favorite.
When I have the chance to watch tv (DVR is outstanding. TIVO has better storage!), I like to watch some of the following: Court shows, Golden Girls, Crime and law shows, Oprah, Food Network, HGTV, specialty shows including America's Next Top Model, Dancing With The Stars, and American Idol. Celebrity Fit Club and Monique's Charm School? I am yet laughing at the foolishness of these shows. I love it!
I enjoy reading the Bible, and discussing it in context of the writings. I did enjoy the "Practical Dreamer's Guide," "Purpose Driven Life" (1st, 2nd, and 3rd time). I also enjoy reading my journal entries. I will have a wonderful series one day. Do we hear "major motion picture?" and I mean MAJOR! Some of the stuff that I have.............eh, um, I'll save it for the book!
My parents are my heroes because they fought, cried, worked, played, and loved hard for their family. They are still standing today and we are right here with them. They have given me the example of how a family is suppose to be. I love them. I would not be here without them. I couldn't survive without what they have given me. My own personal heroes, yet they have been a hero to so many others. My ultimate hero is Jesus Christ, of course! He's never changed because I have. He's embraced me totally and has remained fully committed to me. He's never been a hater and never will :-)
