Mr and Mrs. Beaver

I am Eowyn.

About Me

"We find by losing. We hold fast by letting go. We become something new by ceasing to be something old." ~Frederick Buecher

I'm artsy, eclectic, and in love with God and life (no matter how "uncool" that makes me in some circles). I'm not content with "just getting by" and I'm definitely looking for more than ordinary. Some people find me a bit intense or challenging. I don't like "religiousness", but I love God. I will always be a missionary at heart, no matter where God sends me.

My husband, besides being absolutely amazing, is a total undeserved blessing of God in my life. So for all of you who lack the faith of restoration of the broken times and circumstances we suffer through, talk to me, I have some stories to tell ;)

Xanga is where I really blog...so for those of you who are interested in the inner-workings of my crazy mind, go to http://www.xanga.com/lily_bythewaters.

And as much as I love my friends...for the love of all things good and holy..NO ANIMATED GIFS. I can handle craziness, just not that kind....

"Forget the former things; Do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."
~Isaiah 43:18-19

To fall in love is easy, even to remain in it is not difficult; our human loneliness is cause enough. But it is a hard quest worth making to find a comrade through whose steady presence one becomes steadily the person one desires to be. -- Anna Louise Strong

Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within. --James Baldwin

Caught by God in the act of hiding..

Funny how we try so hard to hide from God.  I think He sees us hiding and it's like that little kid who hides his eyes and shouts, "now you can't see me!" He recently caught me "hiding" again.&nb...
