Influences: Jon’s Influences - Caedmon’s Call, Andrew Peterson, FFH, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Jars of Clay, Dave Mathews Band....those were my old school influences. my new ones are - Maroon 5, Marc Broussard, Shane & Shane, Jason Mraz, Nickel Creek. (anything vocally solid and acoustically funky: me likie)Carrie’s Influences - Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Beethoven, Alanis M., Alicia Keys, Damian Rice, ee cummings, Benny Goodman, Ella Fitzgerald...really, just about everything i hear that i like goes into a little musical box in my head (figuratively speaking, of course). yeah, i just really like music.
Sounds Like: acoustic, funky, soulful, playful, jazzy, melodic, harmony-infused, ballad-included melange of sounds. how's that for a specific description, eh? (what do you think we sound like?)
