I'm an area of Glasgow bounding onto the River Clyde. I have many local amenities, such as Golf Shops, Newsagents, Fast Food burger vans, Laundrette's, Hardware shops, and much much more!Wikipedia had this to say about me...."Finnieston is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde. It is home to the SECC, where many concerts and important conferences are held. Exhibition Centre Station was previously known as Finnieston. The area has had a remarkable change in land-use since de-industrialisation. Previously, Finnieston was an area of warehouses and docks. A snapshot of how Finnieston used to look can be be seen in the film "Deathwatch" (aka "La Mort en Direct"), which used the area extensively in location shots. It has now become an upmarket housing and office area with the Lancefield Quay and Skypark developments.
