Hanging out with my hubby, daughther, and dogs, cooking, scrapbooking, playing cards with the fam in Manson, and singing silly made up songs to my baby girl. I also love hiking and camping and would love to be able to do it more often.
I have a kinda eclectic musical taste. Here goes: Kings of Convenience, Elliot Smith, Interpol, Fiona Apple, Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, Built to Spill, Neil Young, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, America, Tool, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Ben Harper, Young Blood Brass Band, Nirvana, No Doubt, The Fugees, Beck, Cake, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Lisa Loeb, Sublime, and many, many more...
I love movies! All time favorites: Pulp Fiction and The Royal Tenenbaums. Also: Lost in Translation, Life Aquatic (what can I say, I love Bill Murray!), The Fifth Element, Fight Club, Snatch, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Momento, Gladiator, Troy, Tombstone, Casino, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Life is Beautiful, Tommyboy (you have to admit, it's the most quoted movie in all history), Clay Pigeons and Office Space (also a great quotable movie). And as much as I hate to admit it to my husband, I actually don't mind Preditor. :)
The Office-hands down the best show on TV! My new obsession is Grey's Anatomy...Oh, McDreamy! Also, The Simpsons, Family Guy, reruns of Will & Grace, The Biggest Loser (it never fails to make me cry), Law & Order: SVU, CSI, CSI: Miami, reruns of Seinfeld, and Curb Your Enthusiasm (although I don't have HBO so I have to buy the DVDs)
All I ever get to read are nursing textbooks and pregnancy/parenting books. Woo-hoo!
My husband, just because he is wonderful. He is my rock and I love him. He is handsom, thoughtful, dorky, deep, hard working, and did I mention sexy? Over a year after the wedding, he still takes my breath away.My Mom. She is the epitomy of strength and courage. She survived an illness when nobody thought she could and has always been an outstanding, hard working mother showing us nothing but unconditional love.My Dad. His wisdom and advise are superior to all other's. Also, he is one of the goofiest, most funny people I know. He, too, has taught us that family is the most important thing in life and has shown unconditional love.My siblings. Nicole, Darin, and Joe. All have taught me so much about life. Too much to write about. (Plus some of it might be incriminating! :) )
